Just after Hajime recalls his classmates' insults in his mind, a paintbrush rolls by his feet. He bends down to retrieve it, but collides his forehead with another person.
"Ow! Hey! Watch your head, you-" A feminine voice spoked before she stops herself.

"Are you okay?" Hajime asked the girl after a long amount of silence.
"Oh... yeah, I'm okay. Sorry about that earlier..."
Hajime picks up the paintbrush for the girl, then places it on the palm of her hand.
