" Ma where is my basketball shorts? They aren't in my baskets or drawers." a 17 year old Kade Poked his head in his mother room

" Well good morning to you to son." Kacy spoke looking up from her computer with her glasses hanging from the bridge of her nose

" Hello mother dearest" He relied walking in giving his mother her daily morning kiss on the forehead. That's been their tradition since he was old enough to understand kisses. " I really can't find them but I know I washed them last night and put them away." Kade said standing up straight scratching his neck just like his daddy.

" Check your book bag you know you be sleep walking doing the weirdest shit ever. Might packed them like last time." She responded smirking at him

" It's not funny momma I hate that I do that." He said pouting

" It's okay you will out grow it one day at least you do harmless things in your sleep. Go make sure your sister is dressed and ready cause if y'all miss that bus I swear don't expect that car for y'all birthdays." His dukes spoke sternly pointing her index finger in his direction making him throw his hands up in defense before walking out her room

" Baby sisterrr " Kade sung annoyingly knocking on his sister door making a beat

Swinging the door open Kade was met with a anger Katrina. Her face held a mean scowl making Kade laugh cause who's scared of that

" What do you want dumb ass?" Katrina said stepping to the side letting him in her room then closed the door behind them.

Kade plopped on the bed looking around her purple and black decorated room as his was red and black. He admired her academic trophies from the 1st grade spelling bee to her a thousand and one trophies she earned over the years. He was always embarrassed about how smarter his sister was even though he was the oldest. His strength was sports he could play any sport with ease. But he wanted the ability to learn and retain information like his sister

"Momma told me to check on you and make sure you ready for school the bus will be here in ten minutes."

"Yea I'm ready just gotta pick out a pair of shoes and we can go walk to the bus stop." Trina said with a sweet smile. She loved her brother so much she looked up to him. Katrina was technically jealous of Kade and his popularity. She had the brains but he had the friends. Something she craved. Growing up kids bullied her for her thick framed glasses and bucked teeth until Her pops was tired of her coming home crying from the kids taunting her. He wanted to blow every kid but was it worth It ? Then he own kids won't have a father around and refuses to go through that  especially in a new state and environment.  So instead he bought her contacts and braces.

" Aye lil niggas remember y'all gotta babysit Ezrah for a few hours while we go out tonight"
Their father Keon said walking straight into Katrina's room with out knocking first. What if it wasn't Kade in here and it was some boy she would've been dead where she was standing

" Okay pops and next time please knock I could've been changing or something." I said with a tight lipped smile

" And if yo ass was still getting ready knowing the bus pulling up in five mins I would've whooped yo ass, now get the fuck asap" He replied shrugging his shoulders before chuckling walking out

" You know I got practice after school I can't help I'm sorry Demi" kade looked at his sister with sympathetic eyes

" Butttt Dion you know Ezrah doesn't listen to me he takes me as a joke." Katrina whined as she snatched her book bag off the couch headed for the door

" I know but you know I'm the captain I can't miss practice unless it's an emergency" kade responded hot on her tail

Ezrah was Essence and Kilo's 10 year old son. He was a character and that's an understatement. Around certain people he acted a certain way. His parents thought he was an angel so did the twins parents but the twins knew the truth he was a menace. In school he acts like he has sense, straight As,always getting good reports home. But nope all that goes out the window once he steps into the Jackson home.

The kid bent the corner making a right turn, finally finishing arguing about kade calling off so Katrina could study. They looked up seeing the bus pulling off making them haul ass like nothing before. As it seemed the bus driver picked up speed instead of slowing down. Trina stopped running placing her hands on her knees trying to catch her breath. Her chested started to hurt and started to feel tight which actives her aggressive wheezing. Knowing she was about to have an asthma attack she grabbed her inhaler that was connected to her book bag like a lighter leashed. She took a few puffs before her breathing became regular again.

" Fuck you good bro?" Her brother came rushing to her aid knowing the drill

" I'm good, you need to be worrying about telling pops we missed the bus." Katrina said in between breaths smiling patting Kade on his chest lightly in a mocking way

" You owe me." Kade said before calling his dad placing him on speaker

" IM TEARING YALL ASSES OUT DA FRAME! Here I come dummy heads." Keon yelled through the phone before hanging up already knowing the deal. Resulting the twins to bust out laughing.
