14: First Fight

The week had passed in the blink of an eye and he hadn't yet texted me even after I texted him asking if everything was okay.
I sighed after closing my suitcase and looking at the mirror one last time before heading out.
I walked down the stairs with my little suitcase and madey way out of the society
Dr.Mohak was going to pick me up so I looked around trying to find him
I saw his car at the opposite side of the road so I walked towards it and knocked on the window
He lifted his head to look at me and then unlocked the door.
"Good morning" he said
I sat in the passenger seat and replied back.
He started to drive towards our college I took out my phone and texted Shubman that Im leaving for Pune and kept the phone aside.
Suddenly I got a text from an unknown number.
Message
Unknown number: Hey Y/n it's Abhishek.
Y/n: hey how are you??
Abhishek: I'm fine. By the way did something happen between you and Shubman?
Y/n: umm... Idk if you know this but I'm out for a week as we have a campaign and I told him about it since then he has not said anything and isn't replying to my texts.

Abhishek: oh want me to talk to him??
Y/n: no it's fine give him time he'll probably text me back soon
But how is he?
Abhishek: he looks fine but he has been a bit off.
Y/n: oh
Abhishek: don't worry I know him he can't stay away from the people he loves for long
Byee take care.
Y/n.,: Okay. U too
Back to normal
People he loves?? A smile formed on my lips .
Only if he just texted me or replied to my texts.
Abhishek's POV
I looked at Shubman who was sitting across me.
"Bhai ?" I called out to him and he looked up
"Bol" he said
"Sab theek ? Thoda off dikh raha hai" I asked him hoping he would let me know what is going inside his mind
" Y/n se baat huiii teri??" He asked me and I hesitated for a second but replied in affirmative
"Kya soch raha hai tu?? Baat kyu nhi kara us se" I asked him and he kept his phone aside and looked atme.
" Because Dr.Mohak yaar woh dono ek hi room share karhe the last time is baar bhi waisa hi hua toh mujhe Y/n par pura trust hai but Dr.Mohak par nhi"he said and I could feel the frustration in his tone.
"Baat kar ma usse fir" I said
"Tujhe kya lagta hai usse bat karuga toh woh bhi same cheez bolegi ki trust me ,he is just my senior"he scoffed and i sat beside him.
" Acha thike but tu baat nhi karega toh usko tension hogi na aur fir woh focus nhi kar payi toh ?? Ek bar call kr usko"I said trying to convince him
He sighed and got up and closed the bedroom door behind him.

I got out of the bus and we started walking towards our hotel it was more like a villa and this time our rooms were not same
I entered the my room and kept the luggage on the right side of the door.
I paced back and forth and decided to call Shubman
He picked up after a few seconds
"Hey" I said in a low voice.
"Hii" he responded
"So are you okayy?" I asked him
"Yeah no I'm not actually" he said
"What happened?"I asked him
" Dr.Mohak happened Y/n why do you think I was not talking to you these days then"he shouted and I freaked out for a second

" I figured but can we talk about it ?" I asked and he sighed
"Where are you?"he asked em
" Pune "I said
" Send me the address I'll come there and we will talk about it then"he said
" Listen you don't have to do that-"
"Y/n just send me the address please "he said before cutting the call
I sent him the address and called Abhishek.
"Hii sab theek?" He asked me
"I don't know Shubman bohot gusse me lag raha hai" I said aand he sighed
" Dar Matt kuch galat nhi kiya hai tumne just wait for him to get normal and do you want me to come there"he asked me
" No I mean sure yes I need a friend right now "I said and he chuckled
I sent him the address and I cut the call
The bell rang and I opened the door.
"Hi Dr.Mohak" I said and he smiled
"From tomorrow onwards we have to be in the hospital , 12 hrs ki duty hai so be prepared"he said and I smiled
" Okay sir thank you" I said and closed the door.
I lied on the bed and decided to wear something good as I needed to feel a bit happy and pretty dresses do that for me
I changed into a red sweater and black jeans and kept my hair open.
After a few hours
I heard a knock on my door and I looked up from my book and opened got up to open the door.
"Hi" I said to Shubman who was standing infront of me
He entered the room and kept closed the door
"Do you want to have some water?" I asked him
leaning on the door.
"No I'm fine "
"Okay first of all it is disturbing whenever I think about you and him sharing a room together especially after I have started to think he likes you"he said and I let him continue
" I am furious right now and I don't know what to do"he said and I approached him.
" I'm sorry I didn't know you felt that way " I said hugging him.
Another knock on the door interuppted us and I opened it and it was Abhishek
"You called him?" Shubman asked me
"Yes" I said and Abhishek entered the room
"Why?" He asked me
"What do you mean why he is my friend" I said
"Since when " he asked back
"Since we started talking" he looked at me with a stern look
"I don't understand this first Dr.Mohak then him "
"What are you talking about?"I asked this time my voice a bit louder
" He likes you and you called him what if he got the wrong intention?"he aske dme
" It will not happen and if it did are you saying it's my fault?"I asked him
" I don't know maybe "
He said and I felt a pang in my heart
" You know what you are not I'm your sense let's talk when you feel okay"I said pushing him out of the room
" I'm not going anywhere"he said
" Well then I'm leaving"I said leaving the room
I ran towards the garden where no one was there
Abhishek followed soon after.
"Are you okay,?" He asked me
"Out of all people he had to say that I don't know I didn't think it would be wrong to call you here "I said my hands running through my hair.
He hugged me rubbing my back and I couldn't help but cry a little bit.
After a few minutes I got a call from Shreyas
"Hey " I said
"Hey we heard you are I'm Pune wanna join us for dinner"he asked and I said yes as I really needed to focus on something else right now.
"Let's go we have a dinner to attend to " I said going back in my room
I applied some lipstick and mascara and took my bag and started to leave the room
"Where are you going" he asked me
"Out" I said and Shubman sighed
"Let's go I'm invited to the dinner too" he said getting up
We sat in his car and he drove away
Soon we reached a hotel and I got out of the car and started walking inside
I saw the Shreyas ,Kamlesh and Venkatesh and I approached them
"Hello everyone" I said smiling and hugging them
"Heyy"
Shubman said from behind me
I sat beside Kamlesh and Abhishek and Shubman was opposite to me
"Bhai tum dono ko kya hua hai aaj aisa muu banake bhete ho?" Kamlesh asked
" Kuch nhi bas thoda issue hai "he said
I ordered my food and as we waited for our order to arrive we talked about random things.
"So remember the time you got drunk and stayed at our place then we almost pranked you?"shreyas asked us
" Yes "I replied
" So did it happen?"he asked and I blushed so hard that my face got as red as a tomato
I looked at Shubman who was smiling too.
I looked at my phone to see that my brother was calling me so o excused myself and accepted the call
"Hii Rudra how are you?" I asked him
"I'm good dii how are you ?"
"I'm fine ,aur bol " I asked
"Me abhi Pune me hu aap kidhr ho?"he asked
"Pune me hi hu dinner ke liye bahar ayi thi friends ke sath"I said
" Kdhr ?"
" Taste of Heaven me ek hotel hai" I said
"Milene aau? Apki yad arhi hai" he said and my face softened
"Aaja call kr pohoch me par" I said and he cut the call
I approached the table and told them that I invited my brother as he missed me
Our food approached and we started eating suddenly I saw Dr.Mohak and my brother together
My brother saw me and walked towards me
I got up and hugged him
"Guys this is Rudra ,Rudra this is everyone"I said and they all started hugging him.
Everyone seemed to like my brother alot
Infact Abhishek and Rudra just clicked.
"Oh by the way before I forget he is my friend " my brother said pointing towards Dr.Mohak' direction
I looked at Shubman and saw his expression change
"Yeah he is my senior" I said and my brother ohhed
"You know he has a thing for you "my brother said and I choked on my water and started coughing
" No no he doesn't like me why does everyone keep focusing on that "I said
" Sorry Shreyas"I said and he shrugged
"Ask him if you want ? By the way are you seeing anyone?"he asked me
" Yes I'm he is my boyfriend"I said pointing towards Shubman
" What ? I thought these are you friends" he said and I shook my head
"Does he know about this?"he asked me
" Yes he knows "I said
" Sorry buddy I didn't know that you two were together"my brother apologised
" No worries"he replied
" So he is the on you kept talking
About " my brother whispered
" Keep quiet"I said
" Actually what does she say about me ?" Shubman asked
"Oh no no Rudra stay quiet
"Oh no let me speak and share my knowledge" he joked
And I shook my head ready to face the embarassment
"So she was head over heels for you when since she saw you and everytime you were playing she would watch the whole match with such attention otherwise she never even watches an over"he said and Shubman looked at me
" Also since you started dating she talks to me about you saying how sweet you are and how lucky she is and you know sweet things . Also she -"I interuppted him
" Thank you so much next time I'm not sharing anything with you " I said
Shubman looked at me with so much love I just smiled
"Now you know what I talk about you to others" I said quietly
"Since you gave dhoka to my friend I will dothe same"Abhishek said
And Shubman looked at him wide eyed
" So this guy over here talks bout you 24/7 he even started keeping a diary ever since you started going out . I remembe one day he  was dancing all around the house and then bumped into Sam and started hugging him I don't know why.-"
" That is it thank you so much for that Abhay"he said slapping his back.
" Shubman can I talk to you for a second?" I said and we left the area
Walking towards the garden be took my hand in his
"I'm sorry for overacting " he said
"I'm sorry I made you feel insecure " I said
"I love you "he said and I stopped in my tracks and looked at him
"I love you too" I said
"Just so you know you can't unlove me now" he said
"I don't think I'd wanna do that "I said and we laughed walking together I don't know for how long but I wished forever
