It was Wednesday today and time was going so slow that it made me furious.
I missed Shubman and since I was busy with the functions we barely talked
Suddenly someone spoke pulling me out of my zone.
"Heyy Y/n"Dr. Mohak greeted me
My brother Rudra had brought him here as they were best friends and apparently Dr.Mohak had nothing else to do which I found hard to believe.
"Hiii Dr.Mohak"i replied where as he took a seat next to me.
"Please Y/n don't call me Dr. Here we are off duty "he said
"I'll try my best "i replied
"Did you have lunch yet?"he asked me
"No I didn't what about you"I asked
"No I'm waiting for your brother"he replied to which I smiled
"So what you guys a thing yet?"i asked chuckling
"Oh we would have but both of us are straight as a pen "he replied smiling
"How are things with you guys "he asked me
"Shubman?? Well we are good just the distance makes it difficult "I said
"Well you are going back on Saturday so "
Dr.Mohak just shrugged
"Yeah i know I'm trying my best to get through this wedding "
I said
After a while we both had lunch and clicked a few pictures
He even tagged me in one of his insta stories where i was feeding a puppy and helping him sleep
It was late at night and i was almost done with my night care routine
I washed my face and moisturized it and jumped on my bed with my PJs on
I had my phone with me and i was about to call Shubman
Instead i got a call from my brother
"You are literally one room away like still u wanna call me " i said
"Umm Y/n it's me Dr.Mohak " the person on the other side said
"Oh sorry i didn't know it was u umm is everything ok?" I asked him adjusting
"Actually something is up with like the chief guest that was gonna come today like he isn't well and we were thinking if it was possible for you to call Shubman and you know " he said and i hesitated before answering
"Um I'll let you know good night" i said ending the call
I didn't really want to ask Shubman because it had nt been that long since we started dating and i didn't feel comfortable asking for such a big favor
Call me reserved minded but i was hesitating also because Dr.Mohak was there
I rolled in my bed and waited for the night to come to an end but before that i texted Shubman
Umm heyy sorry i couldn't call you at all today idk how to say this but i kind of need a favour call me when u wake up
With that i fell asleep in my bed
