2 . Fourth time's a charm

I was just changing into a simple pair of jean and a black kurta
I wore silver bangles and jumke
  As I was going out with my bestie and we always looking for eye candy you know
  It was my holiday , I took it as I had been busy the whole week and I needed a break
   It was Monday today I know most people like working on the first day as a new start.
But I preferred a holiday on Monday mostly inorder to reduce the pressure of its the first day of the week .
  I applied eyeliner and lipstick
And left the house .
    I called my bestie but when I sa eher car infront of the building I ended the call and rushed towards it
   I hugged her tightly as we both know that we were going tobe busy the whole week
    Shubhman's POV
I was getting dressed as we were going out to practice
   It was not a simple place where itwas just going to be a few people and our team
   After an hour or so we were all dressed and now we're headed to the ground
    When we entered the place some lo-fi music was playing which relaxed me
   I took a mocktail for myself and took a seat

We were now in this fancy place which had a little nice playground
My friend Rucha took care of it she worked for a very big company and studied side-by-side.
I entered the area worried that I was overdressed
But she assured me that I wasn't
And looked amazing
I just took a seat on one of the couches beside the ground
Shubhman's POV
I was just chilling when I heard clanking of bangles which was unusual to hear here as everyone was dressed in western clothes
  I heard the clank again when I looked at the direction of the voice I saw her
Y/n , I think it was the 4rth time I saw her
I saw her with a friend , they both were laughing.
I couldn't help but feel a strange feeling in my heart everytime they laughed
   I was interrupted when I saw Sam approaching her and they started having a conversion.
    I wanted to go there but I held myself back and focused on the song .

I was just cracking a few jokes and remembering a few things with my friends when Sam Curran approached me
   I don't know how do I keep seeing them here , when I looked around I saw Shubhman too
   "Heyy doll and doll's friend" he said
"Heyy" we both said
   " We keep bumping into each other don't we?" He asked
"Yeah it was  crazy yesterday I mean the police and all that" I said
"What police? Bataya q nhi ,kya hua are you okay??"Rucha asked me
",Ha ha me theek hu don't worry me badme sab batati hu "I said
" You girls want something to drink?"he asked us
    " No I'll pass "I said
But Rucha asked him to bring her drink
" But but what is your name ?"he asked us
" Y/n"I said
" Rucha"
" Okay girls, I will be back"he said  and went away to get her drink
  " Who is that cutie ?comeon I'm toh booked but you are still single who can have a little fun"she said
" I met him yesterday ,also he is a cricketer I watch cricket these days so I know "I said
" He is so interested in you ,show some Interest in him na "she said
" You know that I'm avoiding any sort of relationship"" I said
"Come on yar get out of your shell and explore badme if you get married then what are you gonna do ?"she said
" First of all I'm not getting married never ever " I said
"Plus I'll explore these things later"I said and Sam was back with our driiinks
"Go on keep talking don't stop because I came" he said
" No let it be Sam she is just too uptight" Rucha said making me till my eyes
"Fine I agree I'm buy are you going to do anything about it noo why ? because you love me"I said
   She just left her seat and walked away
"This always worked on her I wonder what happened"?"I said
" Doll don't he upset she will be back no one can leave your side for too long "Sam flirted
Shubhman's POV
I was still not paying attention but they talked so loudly I couldn't help but overhear everything
Now it was just Sam and y/n there her friend was out of sight
That's it I'm going there right now
I was taking steps towards them slowly but I decided to go back.
I turned around to leave but Sam called me
"Shubhman ,hey come here" he said
And I turned back again and approached them
" Look who I find" he said
"Hii" she greeted me
"Heyy" I greeted her back
I  was looking for a seat to seat and sat opposite to her
  Their was this awkward silence
"So you are a medical student?" I asked her
"Yeah it's my first year "she said
" How's that going for you"Sam asked her
"Well not too bad things are a bit complicated but nothing I can't handle "I said
" Well I hope you do well every year " I said
"Thank you" she said
I saw her friend come with two drinks in her hands
"Listen I'm sorry I will try to do what you asked me too" she said
"You promise?"she asked y/n
" Yea I promise"she said
" Great then have this "she said handing her a tequila shot
" No no no I'm not having that" she said
"Come one take it you need a break" Sam said
"Okay fine " she said taking the drink from her hands
And took a sip from it
"You need to take a full gulp in one go" I said
The expression was priceless.
When she drank it all
"Is se accha toh you could have given me my usual" she ssaid to he friend
"Your usual wasn't available isle ye laya"she said
Her attention was on me now
" Hii I'm Rucha" she said forwarding her hand
"I'm Shubhman" I greeted her
I saw Deepak and Shreyash approaching us
"Idhr hai ye log ," Deepak exclaimed
He approached us and looked back and forth between the girls and us
" I didn't see you hadcompany" Shreyash said
"Oh hii Y/n" Shreyash greeted her
"Hii " she greeted back
After all the introduction we all were now in the ground playing cricket
  Y/n ,Sam and Deepak in one team
Rucha, Shreyash and I was in another
"Sam can you help me with the position" y/n asked him
Sam was standing so close to her he was literally hovering on her I couldn't help but feel a pang in my heart
"There you go " Sam said
"Deepak Can you please bowl nicely please don't be Deepak Chahar just be D for now"she said and we all laughed
He threw the ball and it was a six on the first ball
It had been two overs now and the score was
30/0
On the second ball of the third over y/n got out she handed her bat and
And helmet to Shreyash
And this time Rucha was balling
I never say this but because of her balling the score was now 60/1
We had decided to play a match of only 5overz so now when the ended it was our turn to bat
I was there , Sam was there for the first over then it was y/n
He was teaching her how to ball
And she was doing alright
Our after the second over was 40/0
Deepak was bowled on the first ball of the fourth over and now I had to score more 15 runs in two overs
Rucha came to bat her stance was alright
We took runs and now she was on  strike
She hit a six a four and the over ended
It was our last over and we ahd to make more 5 runs
But I was bowled on the first ball and they won the match
"Yay!" Sam shouted
And hugged her tightly
She looked so amazed that she almost didn't hug him back but decided to do so 
"Okay so what do you want to do now since you guys won"Deepak asked them
"I don't want anything" she said
"You sure ?" Deepak asked her
" Actually there is one thing agar mera parcel bar bar udhr aajata hai toh please next time 5floor chadke mat aana neeche security pe de diyatoh bhi chalega"she said
'okay noted" Deepak said
"So tum dono ko kuch chaiye?" He asked Curran and Shreyash
"Shotss!!!" They shouted
And we all were now headed to the bar
We all ordered our drinks
" I want antiquity neat" y/n said
"Neat ?are you sure?" I asked her
"Yeah I'm " she said
Our drinks came
I saw her took a sip of her drink and feeling satisfied with it .
"So do you have a boyfriend ?" Sam asked her 
" Nope " she replied
" That's fortunate''he said
"Come on stop flirting with her "I said
"Why ? does it bother you,?" He asked me
"Ofcourse umm..not"I replied
We all kept drinking and Sam couldn't stop flirting with her
When we decided to go y/n almost Tripped
I think she was drunk because she started saying a few strange things
"You know my heart likes you so much but I keep on telling her no you can't get involved in this mess"she said

" Because with love comes pain too and me woh nhi jhel sakti na hi main kisiko pain dena chahti hu mene bhtt logo ko painnnn diya hai "she said
" Itnasara guilt hai mere pass joh jata hi nahi"she continued I slowly walked her towards our car as Rucha was also a bit tipsy
She called her boyfriend and he picked her up
Y)n was now with us
"Deepak!!!! My favourite bowlerrrr " she siad looking at her
"You look like my ex crush" she said
"You know when I got to know something about him a secret I was so angry whenever I looked at you because I'm stupid"she said
" I just want to be held with warmth and no pain ,but I don't know when will that happen"she said
Now we were infront of our car she was with Sam and me In the back seat and Shreyash and Deepak were in the front
"Shubhman Gill are you single ??" She aske dme
" I know you are not and it hurts me sooo much don't get me wrong I'm so happy for you but just sad for my poor heart "she said.
" You know I'll tell you a secret"she said coming towards my ear
" I've never kissed anyone "she said
And I looked at her wide eyed
"Never " she said
"I want to have a sensual and nice and rough yet soft kiss" she said putting her head on Sam's shoulder who hugged her tightly
" I love Gillllllllllll" she said
And passed out

We were now infront of her apartment looking for the key but we realised that Rucha had the key as y/n's bag was with her
Y/n still had her cell but it had low battery so we decided to take her to our apartment
We had other members too at the apartment so I had to make sure that she was safe
     I picked her bridal style and took her to my room as the other rooms were occupied
    I slowly put her on my bed.
I took her bangles amd jhumkas and kept them on the table beside
I saw her Getting up she signalled that she wanted to throw up
So I quickly brought a bucket
I slowly took her towards the bathroom to wash her dress and face as she got a little bit on it but she ended up going too the shower and switched it on
"Don't do that" I screamed
I quickly went towards her and stopped the shower
We both were completely wet now
I undressed and wore a bathrobe
I slowly took her dress out as I can't leave her like that
I dressed her in my tshirt which came to her knees
He hair was wet too so I opened them amd towel dried them
I took out her jeans making sure I didn't touch anything
After she was dressed I put her on my bed and quickly wore clothes
She got up again
"Shower " she said and started getting up
But I put her on the bed again and slept beside her
I looked at how beautiful she looked her eyes , cute lips and the cheeks
She looked so innocent .
I slept while looking at her ..
