When Summer Ends - BONUS Chapter 26 WILL'S POV

She sighed and nodded, “I got out anyway. Shot in the back, see?” she turned round looking over her shoulder trying to look sexy no doubt. I noticed that all of the boys nearby were watching her like predators watch an injured animal. I couldn’t help but laugh, teenage boys and their hormones!

“Oh yeah. Never mind, you can’t win everything,” I turned and flicked my eyes to Chloe who caught me looking at her and smiled her sexy little smile at me. I fought the urge to grin at her like an idiot and turned away quickly before I did something that would get us both in trouble. Shit how the hell was I going to stay away from her from now on? It was easier to just try and deny everything but now I couldn’t do that. Term finished in nine months, we just needed to keep it secret until the end of term then I wouldn’t be her teacher anymore and she’d already be eighteen. Wow this was going to be the hardest nine months of my life.

Caroline sighed, “Looks like we’re about ready to go.” She nodded over to Mr. Young who was checking some people onto the first coach. Please let me get Chloe’s coach, I begged internally.

“Yeah, looks like,” I nodded, shrugging out of my jumpsuit and tossing it into the pile with everyone else’s, making sure to get Chloe’s little yellow life band out of my pocket so I could keep it.

I headed over to see if I needed to do anything, I stopped next to Mr. Young as he was checking people off as they got on the coach. “Want me to do anything Matthew?”

“No thanks, you can take coach one if you want, it’s almost done.” He nodded towards the door and I smiled and nodded, praying that Chloe would be on my coach, just so I could stare at her like a freaking pervert stalker.

“Sure.” I headed to the door and leant against it, watching the line file inside. I spotted Chloe join the line and I couldn’t help but smile at her, damn it Will stop being so freaking obvious about it! She looked so beautiful today, just like every other day but her smile was so big that it made my skin tingle slightly, I really hoped that smile was because of me.

When she got up level with me I put my hand across the door stopping her from getting on, making Amy bump into her from behind. As usual Chloe immediately blushed like crazy just because she was looking at me, wow she was so going to get us caught if she couldn’t stop blushing like that!

“I think I’m going to get a bruise on my shoulder where you shot me Miss Henderson. I may have to give you detention for it,” I joked, smirking at her. Hmm hadn’t thought of that, I could just keep giving her detentions all the time so I could hang out with her at school too! That is probably the best idea I’d ever had. I laughed a little to myself; she would go crazy if I did that.

She laughed and shook her head, “You can’t give me detention Mr. Morris, we’re not on school property. Besides, it was an accident and I already apologized,” she said smirking back at me, making me laugh; she was so funny this girl.

I narrowed my eyes at her playfully, “Hmm I guess you’re right. But one step out of line on school property and your ass is in detention.” I’d definitely stick to that rule from now on.

She rolled her eyes, “I’ll keep that in mind.”
