Feathered wings once caressing skies
Now sprawled, torn, motionless
The world had asked something,
"Maybe you can lend a few feathers?"
She was strong enough they said.
For she carries a child,
Not that hard to carry the world
With a pair of a little barren pinions.
But where did she fade next
Into the oblivion hurled?
Each quill they write poem with
Says not her name, but
Initials of theirs alone
For the world to breathe, left.
