Regaining Omnipotence (Part 3)

"Remind me again what is the trail of the Mind Stone?" Questions Chaos.

"The trail of the Mind Stone is where the being trying to claim the stone has their mind tested by the stone itself if their mind is not strong enough they can not claim the stone if their mind is strong enough they will be allowed to claim the stone." Answers Eternity.

Before any more conversations could take place between the Aspects Perseus blinks into existence right before their very eyes. When the Aspects see him they are shocked to see that he is without any of the Infinity Stones on his person. "Foolish boy, you have come without the Infinity Stones how can you possibly hope to defeat us and claim the Mind Stone?" Questions Eternity.

"I don't need to hope." States Perseus with the Aspects becoming completely flabbergasted to find that they could not move at all. Without waiting even a moment Perseus starts mentally pulling the Infinity Stone out of wherever it was and straight into his hand.

Not a moment after he does this the Infinity Stone which is revealed to be yellow flies straight out of wherever it was and lands right into Perseus's awaiting hand. Perseus then proceeds to look at the yellow Infinity Stone he was holding. He knew that it was the Mind Stone so unlike previous times he was not curious to know which Infinity Stone it was.

He then wills the portion of his power to return to him absorbing the portion of his power that was once the Mind Stone. Once Perseus had absorbed the portion of his power that was the Mind Stone he stands there for a few minutes getting used to the new feelings he felt.

The first feeling he felt was not as strong as the feelings he felt from the Space Stone and the Power Stone but it was still noticeable. The best way to describe what he felt would be to say that everything was just more clear and easier to comprehend.

The second feeling he felt was safe to say the best feeling he had felt out of everything he had felt. Not only does his power feel amazing and fully there but he also has the feeling of once more being complete.

The feeling of being complete was something that Perseus struggled to put into words but he felt like it would be similar to a person who were to lose the ability of something like using their legs for a long time and eventually gaining the ability back.

Perseus then allows the Aspects to have the ability to speak. Immediately after this Eternity speaks "How did you absorb the power of the Mind Stone and did you do the same with the other Infinity Stones?" Questions Eternity who could quite clearly not believe what he was seeing.

"I'll answer your question with a story." States Perseus who receives looks of disbelief from the Aspects present.

"In the beginning, there was one being this being was the only being or thing that existed. This being did not have a gender although their humanoid figure looked more like a male's body than a female's body. This being also lacked a name since such a concept did not exist. This being was Omnipotent: the form where the being has truly unlimited power.

One may think this would be an amazing way to exist basically being God. However, this being would have said differently at the time. This being would have said this for a few reasons. The first reason this being would have said this would be because they may have had unlimited power but they did not know how to use the power. The second reason this being would have said this would be because they were the only being that existed and quite frankly it was a lonely existence.

The being's existence was a very lonely existence. They may have had unlimited power but they could not use it to do anything. They were also the only being in existence so the only thing they could really do was wander around the endless nothingness for eternity.

At this time the being was trying to decide what they wanted to do after coming up with an idea. The decision the being would make would change its existence and change the existence of everything else for the rest of eternity.

The being was well aware that it had an unlimited amount of power that it could not currently use. So the being came up with an idea on how to get out of its current miserable existence. The idea was relatively simple the being would try to end its own existence by splitting its very being apart piece by piece from its unlimited power to its very soul.

The being was tired so very tired of existing it had wandered around the endless nothingness for as long as it could remember. In fact, the being didn't even remember the start of its existence it was as if the being had no beginning and if it so pleased it would not have an end.

The being had hoped it would eventually run into something whether it be another being or something that was not just complete nothingness. Now the being only had a small amount of Hope of there being something else other than itself and nothingness.

The being then made its decision and decided that it was too tired to continue its meaningless existence. So the being used its unlimited power and split itself into pieces from its unlimited power to its very soul." States Perseus who was done telling his story.

"Now that your question is answered I think it's time I get to work." States Perseus with him raising his left hand and snapping his fingers. Seeing what he was doing the Aspects were in complete shock and disbelief.

They were like this because the full power of the Infinity Stones was known to give the wielder the ability to snap their fingers and destroy half of all life in the universe. Unlike what the Aspects were thinking however Perseus wasn't destroying half of all life in the universe but he was making a few changes.
