Regaining Omnipotence (Part 2)

Sorry about the late chapter a few things happened yesterday and I completely forgot about updating my story. With that said I hope you enjoy the chapter!

Previously

"Now before we go you all must know that I am unaware of how big the place we are going is going to be so the bigger beings of the army will be staying here until we arrive and see just how big the place we are going is. Because of this those of you who will be going ahead of the bigger beings in the army should shrink down to your mortal heights.

I will be doing so as well." States Perseus with everyone present besides for Typhon, Apophis, Jormungand, and Fenris Wolf shrinking down to their mortal heights.

"Now I believe that is everything. We will be going now." States Perseus with him using his power to send himself and the beings of his army going to the location of a portion of his power in the form of an Infinity Stone.

Perseus and the beings of his army then appear in a spaceship of some sort. As soon as Perseus had appeared in the space ship he instantly knew the exact location of the portion of his power in the form of an Infinity Stone. "Explore the place and destroy anything that stands in your way." States Perseus who stays in his spot for a moment to get a good look at the spaceship he was currently on.

Perseus then gets ready to use his power and teleport to the location of the portion of his power in the form of an Infinity Stone before he could do this however he stops because he receives a prayer. "God if you can hear me I don't think I have much time left in this world as my dying wish please protect my son."

Immediately after Perseus hears the prayer he blinks out of existence with the Infinity Stone forgotten and left behind. This was because the prayer he just heard was from his technical mother Sally Jackson.

Now

3rd Person

In an alley in Manhattan Perseus blinks into existence and immediately starts walking into the direction of his technical mother. In less than a second later he arrives behind a man who was holding his technical mother at gunpoint without wasting even a second Perseus snaps his fingers and teleports the man straight into the volcano that was once Typhon's prison. As soon as Sally Jackson sees Perseus her eyes seem to try and jump out of her skull.

To say she was shocked would be the understatement of the entire history of the universe. She was shocked for many reasons. Firstly she had just prayed for her son to be protected and in only a moment later her son appears even though despite her prayer she had believed deep down that her son had passed. Secondly, her son was wearing a full white suit how he could afford such a suit she did not know.

Thirdly she had seen him snap his fingers and not even a second later the man in front of her blinked out of existence.

When her mind had finally registered the shock of the previous events Sally Jackson regains her voice and speaks to her son "Percy is it really you?" When Perseus continues to stand there completely unmoving Sally Jackson starts to think that maybe she had imagined the whole thing.

After all, people don't tend to blink out of existence with the snap of someone's fingers much less the snap of her son's fingers who had most likely passed a long time ago.

Or maybe she thought she might have been shot and this was her eternal punishment for giving up on her son. She would have to sit here for the rest of eternity and think of how she had given up on her son while waiting for his response which would never come.

Sally Jackson was broken out of her extremely depressing thoughts by Perseus responding to her question. "Yes, it's me, mom." Answers Perseus who finally decided that he would still view Sally Jackson as his mother despite him literally being Infinitely older than her due to him never having a beginning.
