Perseus: The Omnipotent

Regaining Omnipotence (Part 2)

"Percy, what has happened to you? You disappeared off the face of the earth years ago! Do you have any idea how worried for you I have been? I hoped and I hoped but deep down I thought you were dead! Recently I prayed I thought I was going to die. Do you know what I prayed for I prayed for your protection.

Not that I am not grateful but then out of completely nowhere you show up and save me with a snap of your fingers. You are also wearing a full white suit so please explain to me what in God's name is going on!" States Sally who was most certainly at a loss but clearly not at a loss for words.

After his mother's speech, Perseus feels a strong disturbance in the Soul World which could only mean one thing the members of his army on the spaceship were completely obliterated. Once he reaches this realization he signs inwardly slightly impressed with the being currently in possession of the portion of his power in the form of an Infinity Stone.

According to his research for a being to use the amount of power required to destroy the members of his army on the spaceship they would have to have an extremely strong will.

Perseus knew that eventually, he would have to explain to his mother what exactly happened along with his entire story but at the moment he knew that it would take a while for his mother to comprehend things so it would be best if he just regained the rest of his power before telling his mother his story.

So with a slightly regretful smile, Perseus looks at his mother, uses his power to teleport away, and blinks out of existence leaving his mother to stare at the spot he was in with anger.

Line Break

On the spaceship that Perseus and his army were previously on Perseus blinks into existence. As soon as he is there he quickly looks around for the being that destroyed his army he soon sees a being carrying a war hammer that was glowing purple. Once the being spots him he raises the hammer as if he was about to fire it.

Perseus allows him to do this and there is soon a blast of purple light that hits Perseus and to the being's surprise doesn't turn him to ash in fact it doesn't even damage his suit.

"That won't work on me." States Perseus with him mentally pulling the Infinity Stone out of the war hammer and straight into his hand. Not a moment after he does this the Infinity Stone which is revealed to be purple flies straight out of the war hammer and lands right into Perseus's awaiting hand.

The unknown being then proceeds to slowly back up after all it wasn't every day he saw someone survive a blast from an Infinity Stone that could destroy planets and then proceed to summon the Infinity Stone out of his war hammer and into their awaiting hand.

Perseus then proceeds to look at the unknown being before he looks at the purple Infinity Stone he was holding. Which Infinity Stone it was he wasn't sure but he would soon find out so he wasn't too worried about it. He then wills the portion of his power to return to him absorbing the portion of his power that was once the purple Infinity Stone.

Once Perseus had absorbed the portion of his power that was the purple Infinity Stone which he had found out was the Power Stone he stands there for a few minutes getting used to the new feeling he felt.

The new feeling he felt was incredible he knew that each Infinity Stone had an unlimited amount of power that could be used on the part of existence they each represent but what he had felt before was nothing like what he felt now.

What he had felt before was limited because the unlimited power he gained from the other two stones could only work with the part of existence they represent the power he just gained, however, was just pure power that could be used for anything.
