When I was hatched, the dragons who were meant to teach me whispered about my forever-tan head, tail, and wings and dumped me with my parents, who were forced to teach me themselves. That happened a year ago, but my parents, Gecko and Mango, still made it pretty clear that they thought it was my fault. My father taught me tree-gliding and fruit-picking while my mom taught me how to fight and hunt.
I was rejected not only by my parents and the dragons who were ment to teach me, but also by the other dragonets. I could never participate in their chamoflage games and my tail was deadly to those who even grazed it. No one cared about me, no one loved me, no one cared if I was dead or alive and I spent most of my time fighting and flying, getting stronger and faster.
Today. I decided, Today I will visit the Kingdom of Sand.
