it's officially the night before Dante's birthday meaning I'm almost graduating meaning I have to go out and get Dante a cake so the plan is to sneak out and surprise Dante at twelve since he's not gonna be here until just as soon as graduation starts also meaning all this is almost over
I'm tip toeing my way to the door
I don't think he heard me escaping we're good
** They have literally no good cakes okay new plan I'm gonna bake a new cake just this time it's for his birthday and I'm gonna be super quiet
I grab all the ingredients needed. some kid tried to steal the last pack of candles isn't it past his bedtime what a little bozo
Dante is totally in love with me I mean who wouldn't be I wish Dante and I were immortal
if I was on my last breath and someone gave me a Time Machine I'd go back in time to when Dante danced in the snow with me
Now that I think about it him and I have had a lot of cliche moments I couldn't have wished to do them with anyone else though
you know when I first started at the whole new school thing I didn't think I'd get attached to three animals and some bozo that hated me the first couple days of me being there
I love them though a lot especially dante since you know I'm immortal and shit I can also turn Dante immortal
i almost ran over a old woman what is she even doing out right now

I'm gonna leave the cake here to cool down a little and go to ace Eli's and Lijahs dorm even tho they practically live here
I need to tip toe out again
i sneak into the halls and walk over to they're dorm
I'm gonna bang on the door like the cops
I start banging and hear a scream that was definitely Lijah he needs to man up for real
he halfway opens the door then sees me and raises his eyebrow
"Lav?" He says grinning
"Lijah" I say dabbing him up
"where's everyone else" I say walking in
"right there" he points to the couch where ace and Eli are thumb waring what children
"bro stop acting like children" I say making my way over to them
"what are you doing here bozo" ace says
"shut up loser and it's five minutes until Dante's birthday let's go" I say yanking them up
"I made him a cake" I say softly smiling
I hope he likes it he better
I love him like a whole lot I'm really really happy he was my roommate and decided on not hating me
"aw that's so cute" Eli says squishing my cheeks
"fuck off you gremlin" I say swatting him away
"okay be quite I'll grab the cake" I say nodding
I grab the cake and we all start tip toeing to my bedroom where Dante's asleep he's quite a rough sleeper it's becoming abuse at this point
"On three sing happy birthday and turn the lights on okay?" I say
"got it" they say
"on two..three" I say
"happy birthday Dante" we scream
Dante shoots up and pulls a gun from under his pillow what the fuck
We all grin and Dante looks at me then to the cake
a grin breaks out on his face and he gets up and makes his way over to us
"blow out the candles you loser" I say ruffling his hair
Dante closes his eyes and blows them out
I set the cake on the desk near our bed he turns to me engulfs me in a soft hug
Dante gives the best hugs I could stay here forever there so soft makes me feel so happy and lovey
"thank you my love for everything" he whispers
"always and forever Dante" I whisper back and press a soft kiss to his cheek
"alright enough of this I wanna hug dante too" Lijah says
Dante and I break our hug and Lijah tackles him in a hug
"Let the poor man breath bro" Eli says dabbing Dante up and mumbling a happy birthday
"I'm going back to bed we graduate tomorrow bitches" Lijah yells
"shout one more time and I'll choke you out" I say glaring at him
"yeah that's our cue to leave" Lijah gulps dragging Eli and ace with him
"did you read the cake" I grin at him
"I did" he says nodding
"I love it" he says
"I love you" I say
"I love you lav" he says
"you know I'm not gonna be here when your first arriving to graduation right?" He says
My face slightly drops
"yeah" I mumble
"I wouldn't miss you graduating for anything" he says who's he trying to convince?
"I know you can't miss your own graduation either bozo" I say
He chuckles
"come here" he says patting the seat next to him
I sit next to him and he pulls me into a hug
"I couldn't have wished for a better roommate to spend my last year here with I'm so lucky" he says
"me either im so happy" I say
a tear rolls down my cheek im not sad im happy trust me
"are you crying dante?" I ask pulling back
he is crying oh my
"don't look at me like this" he says dramatically shoving his face into the pillow
I let out a laugh
Words could never explain how happy he makes me feel
