Cracked ribs, broken heart?

*Jessica's pov*

They led Derek & I into a room, handed me a gown and shut the door.

''Turn around.'' I laughed as he stared.

He put his hands up and turned.

I quickly took off the shirt and shorts, and slipped it on.

''Derek? Can you tie please.'' I asked.

''Sure.''

I felt his hands pull me towards him, as he started to tie, then stopped,''Can I ask you something?''

''Sure.'' I said turning to see him.

''I know you didn't go home, um how did you uh.'' He stopped blushing, then I realized.  

''The unders?'' I asked, he nodded.''Well I got use to caring stuff around becuase we would fight, I would make a run for it. So yeah.''

''Oh.'' He said as he finished tie the knots.

I have smiled,''Thanks.''

''Welcome.'' He said as he sat down.'' After this we are going to go and get your things.''

''What about helping your friends?'' I asked.

''Their not my friends, and you shouldn't worry about them. Its my problem, Ill deal with them.'' He smiled.

I dont like being told not to do sometime, isn't that one of the points to get me away from Daniel?

I was about to say something as a nurse walked in,''Hello Hun, Im Melissa McCall, ill be your nurse.''

''McCall as in Scott's mom?'' I asked.

''Yeah how do you know him?"'

''Oh I know Alison.'' I smiled.

''Oh, its sad they had to brake up isn't it?" She asked.

''Yeah, its really tragic.'' I smiled.

''Ok, so why are you here today?"' She smiled back.

''Well I was kicked in the ribs yesterday and they really hurt.'' I said.

''Oh dear! How did this happen?"

''Abusive ex.'' I said.

''Did you want me to call the cops?'' She asked with concern.

''No! I- I mean he has money and things its just be if I do this on my own.'' I sighed.

''Are you sure?'' She asked walking to the door.

''Yes, but thank you so much.'' I smiled.

She nodded,''Ok, the doc will be in soon.''

''Thanks.'' I said as she left.

''How come they didn't look broken up yesterday?"' I asked Derek.

''Becuase there not, but not allowed to date.'' He replied, with a hint of anger in his voice.

''Oh.''

He just stared at me, my eyes met his and he looked unsure?

What the hell is he unsure about?
He got himself involved!
I begged him not to!

I just rolled my eyes at him, and stared out the window.

I grabbed my phone, texted Ali,''Hey at the hospital just met Scott's mom, she asked me how I knew him. I just said Im your friend, how come you and him cant date?'' -Jessi-

''We cant becuase of my family, dont be mad, but im an Argent. My mom and dad know Scott's a wolf and they wont let me see him. But you know how love is. I mean with you And Derek right? ;) -Ali-

''Whoa, whoa, whoa!!! Me and derek!???? What you smoking girl???? And im not mad. I have to go the doc came in ttyl!!:)) -Jessi-

I read the last text, I dont think Derek and I would ever be what we were.

''Hello, Ms. Dylan, Im doctor Alyssa'' She said shaking her hand.

I told her the problem, she started to lift my gown, but stopped.

''Is it ok if I left this with him in here?"' She asked pointing to Derek.

I nodded.

She smiled, lifted the gown,''Ouch that look's nasty. And this might hurt.'' She said as she pressed her hand to it.

I gasped, as pain rushed to my side.

I gowned in discomfort. 

''Im sorry, lets get some x-rays. I can tell you some of them are broken I just cant tell how many.'' She said, pulling down my gown.

I just nodded again.

She nodded back and walked out the door.

Derek rushed to my side,'' Are you ok ,baby?" He asked kissing my hand.

I nodded.

''Why arnt you talking?"

''I just dont want to.'' I whispered and took my hand away from his.

''Are you mad at me?" He asked.

''Yep.'' I said popping the p.

''Why?"

''Because you wont tell me about everything that's happening, and you didn't even tell me Alison is an Argent!"  I frowned.

''How do you even know that?"

''She texted me.''

''Why do you have her number?'' He asked angrily.

''Because she's my friend, and I gave it to her!'' I said back.

''You cant be friends with her, with any of them.'' He growled.

''Fuck that! Your trying to get me out of a abusive relationship just to put me in another one! With you of all people! '' I shot back.

''What do you mean with me of all people?"

''I mean a cheater! I mean a fucking control freak!'' I yelled

He just stared at me.

The door opened, Ms.McCall came in to take me to the X-ray.

I just glared at him on the way out.

She thinks im Abusive?!
I would never hit her!
I guess I did yell at her and told her not to be friends with Alison.
But that's because she's dangerous!
They all are.
All im trying to do is protect her.

I've also never heard her say fuck before.

The door opened and Melissa wheeled her back in.

''Ill be back when we find out how many Broken ribs you have, then Ill bring some rap and rap it for you.'' She smiled and walked out.

''Listen Jessica  I would never hurt you! Thats why I said not to be friends with her. She is a Argent and I know them they will use you to get to me!'' I said walking over to her.

''This is not the place nor time to talk about this.'' She whispered.

''Ok.'' I said in defeat.

She always defeats me.

Thats because she owns my heart.
