Three.
I count as I wait for my fate.
Will you swing?
Will I freeze?
I freeze every time.
You swing every time.
It's the same all the time!
If I run, will you catch me?
Maybe I'll only get a slap or a punch.
Or a trip.
Or get kneed.
OR GET BEAT 'TILL I'M COVERED.
Covered in bruises and blood.
Of course you'll catch me!
You just can't resist the urge to hit me.
What about the words?
The words attached to that punch.
Or that kick.
I'm used to it now.
You call me ugly or worthless.
Hmmm what else?
Oh I know.
A waste of precious space!
