The person had did so as Keenan's eyes had widened in surprise because the person that asked to meet up with him is no ordinary person because right in front of him is Siebold part of the Kalos Elite Four as he wasn't expecting to meet up with Siebold although he should've expected it since Misty is also an Elite Four member so of course she's going to know the other ones but still, he was not expecting this.

After both Keenan and Siebold had discussed about Spheal's condition of not being confident enough in battling and him not having the motivation for getting stronger as Keenan had informed him test the only training partner he has is Dartrix and Roserade as those 2 are the only ones willing to help Spheal grow as a Pokémon and to get stronger and well right now both Siebold and Keenan are currently on the beach of Ambrette town.
Siebold:we will be having a 1 vs 1 battle between my Pokémon and your Spheal.he told him
Keenan:are you sure this is a good idea I mean he's literally going to be battling against an Elite Four level Pokémon.he asked him a bit unsure about this
Siebold:you do not have to worry I'll be taking a lot easier then I usually do but for my Pokémon it's my Walrein.he said as he tossed a ball
As the ball had opened up with the usual blue flash of light as the shape of his Walrein had appeared onto the battlefield as it stood at the height of 6'2 as it roared out announcing its arrival as Keenan had stared at the Walrein as he really hopes this gives Spheal some motivation.
