"Have you heard about the great dragon, child?" The older man questioned, he seemed like your father, but you don't remember his face. His voice was quiet and mystical, intriguing you.

"No, whats the Great Dragon?" The young child asked, sitting on the man's thigh.

"Well, let me tell you about it then. Long ago, when dragons flew and drakes danced, the great dragon oversaw all. Taking perch on the great mountain, his eyes flew across the land. His land, his people.
"Everything was peaceful, until the Great Dragon died. Everyone was shocked and sorrowful, choas bringing about the land. But, little did the people know, the Great Dragon split into two other dragons, dragons that no one ever knew existed. The six siblings, the children of the Great Dragon." The older father figure gazed at the young child, seeing fascination within the woung ones' eyes.

"Father! Please, tell me more! What did the siblings do? What happened?" The young child stared, wide eyed.

"Well, young one, the siblings split up. The Dragon of the North Winds took control of the north, and the Dragon of the South Winds took control of the south. But, the other four siblings took control of their own elements, Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. The elemental siblings decided to make their own kingdoms and empires.
"And so, they created special dragons, dragons that protected their kingdoms and empires. The Earth dragon created Venom, Mud, Rock, and Life. Some of these subspecies protected both the Water and Earth dragons, others helped with restoring peace. The most vengeful dragon was the Venom dragon. This dragon was called the Demon dragon, the Death dragon, or the Vengence Dragon. His bright frill scared his enemies away, and his sharp fangs let the most deadly venom become real. Meanwhile, his sibling, Life, tried to create peace with the Vengeful dragon, to no avail.
"the other siblings, Mud and Rock, tried to protect Life from the angered Venom, ending in a fierce battle between siblings. So feirce that a part of the land split off from the mainland, what would now be Japan."

The father looked in your direction, his gaze telling you to remember.
