"Yes, please. Also, Finnick is probably still getting changed, or talking to Melo. I think I saw him going to Finnick's house earlier." Dove said as she sat on the floor in front of Angel, giving her the hair tie in the process.

"How come this year you two go together?" Angel wondered out loud after a few seconds of silence, causing her little sister to shrug. Everyone got worried when Dove and Finnick received the letters about their annual visit. They departed to the Capitol the same day, a thing they had never done in the past two years.

Normally, they rarely coincided during the days they were there. But, now, they were going the same day and even attending the same parties, as the schedule Delia had sent them showed. Everything that's happening has danger written all over. Dove thought, taking a hand to her chin subconsciously.

"All done, I've done my best. How is it that your hair isn't calming down even a little with all the Capitol products they're showering you with?" Angel questioned, placing Dove's braid over her sister's shoulder so she could see it.

With the years, her bushy mess of a hair had grown to reach her hips, causing everyone in the Capitol to copy her style. There were many who loved Dove's hair enough to year wigs or dye their hair to bright red, which repulsed her. Everyone's hair seemed to be bleeding, just like Caesar's a couple of years back during the Hunger Games. It wasn't a good memory for Dove.

"Thanks, Angie." She muttered, turning around to glance at the two girls. Annie stared at her with worry. She didn't want her friend to leave, but deep down she knew it was something no one could control.

"Annie, I'll be back before you know it. But while I'm gone, you can stay here. Angel will take care of you while Finnick and I are out." Dove reassured her, her hands holding hers to show her determination.

Annie Cresta was probably the only District Four Victor to not have a deal right after her Games. There was still time for President Snow to appear, asking her to do something for him, but it didn't seem likely. No one in the Capitol appeared interested by the new Victor, since her tour barely had any importance. During the last party inside the Capitol, everyone spoke with Finnick or Dove, rather than with the actual Victor.

Melo and Finnick entered the room, leaving their coats hanging on a chair as they greeted the girls. Melo gave his little sister a concerned look as he stared at her, who was still sitting on the ground in front of Annie as she held their hands together.

"Oh, no. What happened to the adorable red furred dog?" Finnick commented playfully as he sat on the arm of the girls' couch, causing Dove to glance at him, raising an eyebrow to get a dramatic effect.

"Oh, look who's here, the blondie twins!" Dove said with an overdramatic joyful expression. "What did I do?" Melo asked, a chuckle leaving his lips as he saw his sister's reaction.

"Dove, we have to go." Finnick stated, causing everyone to look at him. For a second, they had forgotten that the rest of the world existed. But he was right, they had to go if they didn't want to miss the train.

"I'll miss you," Melo spoke up, hugging his little sister after she got up from the floor, reassuringly rubbing her back. Librae, who just had entered the room, gave her goodbyes too. She kissed her daughter's forehead and ruffled Finnick's hair, to which he chuckled. She was doing an outstanding job in putting herself back together, almost becoming the person she was before Angel's first reaping.

"We'll be waiting for you two, OK?" Librae said, holding her daughter's hands with hers as she glanced from her to Finnick. She hadn't been in an annual visit for a long time. They had been decreasing since Melo's adoption, but it wasn't until three years ago that she fully stopped getting requested.
