Head Boy and Girl(s)

Ginny looked up from her essay and looked at Hermione. She had been quiet since the moment the results were announced. Hermione and Harry had been close friends and Ginny couldn't blame her for being awkward around him. He was being awkward too, now come to think of it.

"Hey 'Mione." said Ginny. Hermione looked up from her essay. "Yes."

"I think it's time for dinner." she said

"Oh yeah." said Hermione, getting up, "Come one."

They reached the Great Hall, just in time to see the food come on the table. Hermione sat with Ron and Harry while Ginny sat down with Neville and Luna. It was the end of the week and it only had very awkward interactions or in Ginny and Neville's case, ignoring.

"I wonder what will happen next." said Ginny, poking her food, "Because their is no way I am going to talk to Malfoy, that git."

"Yeah, their is no way I am going to talk to Parkinson." said Neville, "I'm not hungry." he added

"Eat up both of you, you both know how it was last time." Luna snapped, "We only got breakfast before and we starved through the rest of the day."

They all shuddered about what happened last year, at Hogwarts. They all still felt it in their sleep, the feel of the unforgivable curses, many amount of time. Last year had been dark  and only black with rare occurrences of white in the mist.

They all feared the word crucio, because that's the word which caused them lasting damage and not only them. Neville's parents for example, they are still mad in St Mongos.

The trio remained in silence for a moment and the moment ticked along, until the meal was ended and Professor MaGonicall was announcing something.

"Attention students, we have decided the head boy and girl for this year. The will be living in a different common room then ours. The head girl is  Pansy Parkinson and Ginny Weasley and the head boy is Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom. Thankyou, now off to bed. The Head Boy and Girls please stay back"

"What?" said Ginny

"I know right." said Neville

"I'll see you both later." said Luna waving goodbye

"Goodbye." Ginny and Neville said and sighed

and both of them got up to meet MaGonicall near the teacher's table. Pansy and Draco did so too.

"So," said MaGonicall, "Your common room is near the astronomy tower. Follow me. The password is Virgo. Follow me."

All four of them followed Professor MaGonicall to the Astronomy Tower and when they reached, Professor MaGonicall turned to look at blank wall and said, "Virgo"

The wall suddenly disappeared and they all got a look inside the common room. It was just plane black, like nothingness.

"We are suppose to live in this." Draco said in cold voice.

"I think we can manage." Ginny said

"Now I want all four of you to walk inside together, hold hands."

"What!?" They all exclaimed. But they did Neville held hands with Pansy and she held hands with Ginny who held hands with Draco and they all stepped inside the room together.

Suddenly their was swirls of color and none of them could see clearly what was happening, then suddenly it all stopped and they were behold their common room of their own. The walls were green and red. It had a clock on the wall which didn't tell the time but the status about the occupants of the room.

It had Sleeping, Classes, Homework, Mortal Peril, Detention, Hogsmeade, Friends, Common Room, Dormitory and Away.

All the hands were right now on  Common Room.

Their were plants all around the room which spoke.

"Good Morning." One said cheerfully

"It's night." A gloomy one said

"Good Night!" The cheerful one said, still cheerfully.

One of the plants said to Pansy, 

"Your hair doesn't match your eyes."

Pansy was glared at the planet, "I don't care, you're just a needless plant."

"I suppose," the plant responded dryly, "But I have a lot of needles."

The couch was decorated with green and silver. With a golden table. In some, the couch was decorated with gold and red with a silver table Their were two fancy spiral staircases which lead up to the dormitories for girls and boys. 

Their were portraits on the four founders of Hogwarts. On the top you could see the stars and night sky like in the Great Hall. The school's motto was engraved on the walls in large letters. 

Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus.

Each table had a diary which was black in color. It said words like, 'Do it today or pay for it tomorrow.' Hermione style and a magazine, like the latest addition of the Quibbler or Vouge. A glass swan was in the middle of the common room in a glass container. 

"Wow." the four of them said. MaGonicall smiled.

"I'll leave you four too explore," she said, "And do let go of your hands, the common room won't fizzle away. It will stay like this till the start of the new academic year, so you have plenty of time to be here."  and with that she left. All four of the students looked at each other and let go, all of them pink with embarrassment.

As night fell, the boys and girls went into their  . Pansy and Ginny didn't exchange a word with each other, neither did Draco and Neville  They found that their were two doors leading inside. One was green and other was red. Ginny and Neville went through the red door while Draco and Pansy went into the green door and inside was exactly like their old dormitories, except they each had one bed and something which reminded them of home. 

For Draco it was a black burned hand, for Pansy a picture of her family, for Ginny a clock which showed in what state her family-it was exactly like the clock from home-were in and for Neville four plants, agave,  cactus,  chamomile and poison ivy. Neville made an oath to water these plants daily.

All four of the students slept soundlessly and woke up early on Saturday morning, refreshed. 

Ginny and Neville walked to the Great Hall together. Pansy and Draco did the same(except they bullied some of the first years) 

When the Great Hall was full, Professor MaGonicall came up and made an announcement for the Seventh Years.

"Attention, today in the afternoon we are going to get a get together session. You have to meet in the Great Hall and this is for Seventh Years only. Thankyou."
