"Um, maybe you could just give me his address and I could find my own way there?" I ask Marinette hoping that she would say yes and the mess that she was creating would be defused.

"Nonsense! What kind of friend would I be if I did not take you? I bet Adrien wants to see me!" Marinette says happily as she starts to go into her own little world not noticing our concerned looks for Luka as it was obvious he was very upset now as his smile was no longer on his face.

"Hey, you know what? Why don't I have Luka show me where the house is? He is sure to know where it is since he goes around the city all the time! And you can stay here with Alya and Nino! How does that sound? Good? Good!" I hurriedly said as both Alya and Nino seemed to get the hint at what I wanted them to do as I dragged Luka by his arm and off the boat and started to let him lead the way as silence engulfed us and I could hear Alya yelling at Marinette even though we were about half a mile away.

"Thank you." Luka says catching me off guard as I look to him confused. "You knew I was uncomfortable with what was going on and got me out of it. Not to mention Alya seemed to pick up that you wanted her to talk to Marinette about how she was acting when I can not bring myself to whenever it comes to Adrien."

"Luka, be honest with me, how often does she act like that with you?" I ask him my voice full of concern as Luka's bangs start to cover his eyes, his hands start to shake but I take his hand and mine and rub the back of his hand like kitty cat did for me.

"It happens more than I would like to admit. Whenever the topic of Adrien appears, in either a conversation, him possibly showing up, or going to meet him, she acts happier than she ever does when she is just with me. It hurts a lot when she does that. She should be at her happiest when she is with me, but lately she just seems....I don't know....content? I feel like she is just using me to get over Adrien. But she is not that petty of a person right?" Luka rants to me as he looks to me for an answer and I honestly do not know how to answer him.

What he said is true. How she acts is hurting him, and Luka is honestly a nice guy and should not have to go through what Marinette is doing to him.

"Luka, I never see a point in beating around the bush, or sugar coating anything, but I am just going to say that you deserve better than Marinette. I really don't know how long you have been in a relationship with Marinette, but it is clear as day that you put her needs and wants before your own. A relationship is something that is a give and take. Both parties get what they want or even a cooperation for common ground. I just see you trying as hard as you can to make her happy and smile while you always have that same smile, one that hides your real feelings." I state as Luka looks to me in shock that I did not hesitate to call out Marinette about what she was doing to him.

"But, I make her feel happy. Don't I owe it to her to keep her happy?" Luka asks me as that hurts my heart and I can see we are just a street away from Adrien's house but I stop and grab him by the shoulders making him face me.

"Luka, why do you think you owe her anything? I mean yeah, sure, she can make a great friend at certain times, but relationship material is not her strong suit, and right now you are suffering because you are not telling her how you feel. While, this single pringle may not be in a relationship, I have seen plenty come and go. Trust me when I say I know what is healthy and what is not. Listen little rock star, you are my friend and I don't want you hiding your feelings. Either you talk to Marinette or I will. And let's be honest it will be better if she hears it from you because if she hears it from me I will not hold back any punches." I state matter of factly telling him the cold hard truth as I release his shoulders as all he could do was look down at me and nod his head in agreement. But it hurt that he agreed so easily. I thought Marinette was better than this.
