𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 ➼ 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗺𝘆 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗲¹

𝗦 𝗘 𝗩 𝗘 𝗡 𝗧 𝗬 . 𝗦 𝗜 𝗫

"Hi, A" She greets me.

"Nice paint" I compliment her, nudging her arm.

"I could say the same to you" She smiles.

She turns back to the fire and I note the troubled look on her face.

"What's wrong?" I ask her curiously.

"Nothing" She shrugs.

"I know when there's something on your mind and I can tell it's bugging you" I tell her matter of factly.

Before she can reply Clarke approaches us and sits down on the opposite side of the fire.

"Everything okay?" She asks us.

"I've been going over it and over it in my head, just trying to figure out how you're still alive" Octavia admits and the thought finally occurs to me.

"What were you doing in the woods, Clarke?" I question in confusion.

"What are you talking about?" Clarke retorts defensively.

"I saw you in Tondc before the missile hit. I know you, Clarke. Something's wrong. And then you and Lexa disappear, and just happen to survive" Octavia explains vaguely and my eyes widen.

"Please tell me you didn't know it was coming" I plead.

"Ava.." She sighs and I shake my head in disbelief.

"Tell me you didn't know it was coming, Clarke" I beg desperately.

"I'm sorry" The blonde replies and my heart drops in shock.

"You let all those people die. You were gonna let us die!" Octavia snaps, jumping to her feet.

"Hey!" Clarke snaps, standing up at the same time I do "I did it to save Bellamy, so that we could win this war. Don't you see that? If we'd evacuated Tondc, Mount Weather would've known that someone tipped us off. They would have found Bellamy" Clarke explains.

"No. Bellamy would have never told you to do that. He would have found another way" Octavia argues and I nod in agreement.

"I couldn't take that risk" Clarke replies.

"Right. Because you're in charge now, and you decide who is disposable. You'd have fit right in on the council" Octavia sneers before storming away and I walk with her, Clarke following us.

"Hey! Wait" She says.

"What?" Octavia snaps.

"You can't tell anyone. If people found out-" I cut Clarke off.

"The alliance will break" I finish for her.

"I'm not an idiot, Clarke" Octavia spits.

I spin around to be greeted with Lexa standing with a guard.

"Commander" Octavia and I say out of respect.

"Ava" She nods at me.

"Octavia" She nods at my friend.
