the two secret love birds continued to enjoy the bliss of their love over the course of many years. aphrodite even secretly bore ares's children. four boys; phobus, deimus, eros and anteros.. as well as a single daughter, harmonia. though it's also believed they may have had a total of 8 children. when hephaestus went away aphrodite went to live their true life. it was going perfect, then an unusal day came upon them..helios, the sun god, roding on his golden chariot catches sight of the two secret lovers. suprised he goes and immediately tells hephaestus. filled with anger and betrayal, he seeked to out their relationship out in an embarrassing way. he would catch them in a web and call all the other gods and goddesses to gaze at their nude love. he would humiliate aphrodite for making their marriage look nothing more than a joke.
