Kiji: "Correct, well done."

Jyugo: "So that guy knows kanji..."

Trois: "He is half Japanese, after all. Apparently, he's quite good at kanji."

Jyugo: "No kidding... his handwriting's good too."

Trois: "More importantly, shouldn't you be worrying about yourself?"

Jyugo: "Huh?"

Kiji: "ALRIGHT! NUMBER 15, YOU'RE NEXT!"

Jyugo: "AHH!"

Kiji: "You're a natural born Japanese citizen, so you'd better answer properly!"

Jyugo: "O- okay..."

I gently took his hand and led him to the front.

Jinx: "You can do this, Jyugo."

The board simply read one word, 'Spiral'. Jyugo touched the chalk to the board with determination.

Liang: "What the... these are all easy questions."

Honey: "There's no way anyone'd be stupid enough to get this wrong."

Jyugo started drawing something that was definitely not kanji.

Everyone: "HAAAAAAHH?!!"

Jinx: "Uhm... Jyugo, that's not-"

Honey & Liang: "Hold on, just what the hell are you trying to write?!"

Jyugo: "Huh? What do you mean? It's a... a spiral..."

Honey: "KIJI, THIS GUY'S A DUMBASS!"

I just took Jyugo back to his seat. SMACK!

Honey: "OWW!"

Jinx: "No name calling!"

Honey: "You bias little-!"

Kiji: "ALRIGHT THEN!"

He threw a book at Jyugo's face titled 'Kanji Drills'.

Kiji: "Let's move on to social studies..."

I read from my teacher's cheat sheet.

Jinx: "What is the name of the road established in 312 BCE for the use of Roman military? Trois, what's the answer?"

He stood up and smiled.

Trois: "The Appian Way."

Jinx: "Correct!"

Trois: "By the way, the form of women's underwear from that era-"

Kiji: "Quiet about that! There are minors present!"

Jinx: "Musashi, you're next. What is the name of the treaty signed between Spain and Portugal in 1494 to decide their international sphere of influe-"

Musashi: "The treaty of Tordesillas."

Jinx: "Okay, good. Where did the Dutch East India Company establish their base of operations for Asian trade?"

Musashi: "Batavia."

Jinx: "Wow, you're really smart, Musashi."

Kiji: "There's such a thing as being too hungry for knowledge, you know."
