It was a late night at Havenfield where Sophie was in the caves practicing for the new year at Foxfire. She thought she heard rumbling but ignored it. She thought it was just the gnomes or one of the animals upstairs. Checking the time she realized that it was late and she should get some sleep. She tried to head up but then the rumbling got worse. Pieces of the caves started to come down and Sophie rushed to get out. Before she could a wall of fire crashed into her make her scream as she was burned alive. Edaline and Grady thought that the screaming was one of the animals. That was a year ago.
