His tone was aloof from his prior tone and his eyes was holding a stiffened look. She opened her mouth to say something but couldn't form words. And at the end, she decided to drop this topic and sighed in defeat.

Sid continued chopping the vegetables and she was staring him with neutral expressions and was trying to look serious like him.

Then she patted on the counter to grab his attention. When he turned towards her with a questioning gaze, she gestured him to come closer. He furrowed his brows in confusion and continued staring her with the same questioning gaze. She scrunched her nose in irritation and again signalled him to come closer.

He sighed in defeat and moved closer to her. He became confused when she again made faces and squinted her eyes.

She first whinned like a kid and later ordered him in authorised tone but she still sound like a kiddo for him. When he bend his face in her level, she gently began to fix his hair strands on one side. Her lower lips were pressed between her teeth and she was handling his hair discreetly.

While his eyes were focused on her face and he was witnessing her doing this small thing with so much focus. He again felt something like current whenever she touched him. After she was assured with it, she finally tucked the hair clip in his hair.

She couldn't stop but giggle and stroked her thumb over that clip. It was baby pink coloured clip with a bunny head on it's end.
Her breath hitched when he suddenly moved closer increasing the proximity between their faces.
