Part 58 "Knowledge"

Gawain: "He kicked me in the nuts! My balls! My acorns!! My man jewels!! He has committed a crime
Punishable by death!"

Mordred: "Are you going to execute him?!"

Gawain: "No! On second thought Death is too good for the likes of him! That's right..... I want the whole city to watch as i kick his Dick TILL IT FALLS OFF!! That's why i want him to be captured and brought to me Alive, RIGHT THIS INSTANT!!!"

The man was clearly holding a grudge. He wanted nothing else but to have the chance to return the favor to his assailant.

Mordred: "Just Forget What he's done to you! He didn't kill anybody! And It's Not like you ever use that stupid thing between your legs anyway!"

Gawain: "Oh believe me. I've used it plenty of times. Isn't that right, babe?" He chuckled and smirked, stealing a glance at His wife.

Sarah: "............. " the wife who was tidying the paper and files for Gawain, stopped abruptly, before blushing real hard at what her shameless husband just said.

Mordred: "Gross.... " Said the warden, with a face full of disgust.

Gawain: "You won't be saying that when you're married--"

He was interrupted when Sarah kicked him off his chair. He had no else but himself to blame from Causing his own wife to commit domestic violence.

Gawain: "Wa-wait-wait-wait!! Sarah, i was just joking!!"

Sarah: "How many goddamn time do i have to beat your ass until you learn!! You shameless stupid Man!"

And just like always, The two fought and Gawain was the one who got most of the beating.

The scene was too much for Mordred to witness any longer and thus she decided to come on a later date till the married couple settled their matter.

As she exited the office and walked through the halls of the palace, it was not long before an officer who worked under her approached her. It seemed that he had news to inform her with.

Putting his hand and fist on his chest, He saluted her, earning a salute back.

"Commander, about that issue.... "

Mordred: "What issue?"

"The one regarding the recent gang activity"

Mordred: *Sigh* "I almost forgot about that. Let me talk to Agravain, he might offer me his insight on--"

"It has been resolved."

Mordred: "Resolved....? How?"

"The citizens complained about recent putrid smell coming from the sewers. We sent some people to investigate and.... " The Man paused, Swallowing the lump in his throat before continuing.

"We found the body of a young man in the sewers. And we later identified him as the leader of the Black Viper gang"

Mordred: "The cause of death?"

"The Otopsy shows that he had Multiple stab wounds on his body.... He was stabbed to death.... By a kitchen knife at that."

Mordred: "Any lead on the murderer?"

"Unfortunately..... We have nothing.... So we can assume that it was due from an inside conflict within the gang..... But we have growing suspicion that the suspect might be none other than that man.... "

Mordred: "And who's this man you're referring to?"

"The shady guy.... "

Mordred Flinched at the mention of that name. Pinching the bridge of her nose she sighed, before looking at the officer who was awaiting for a response.
