Mason pov

2 days later, we had planned to have tea with our soon to be step mother. I was sat in the garrison with John, finn and Michael talking about her

"So first time meeting her?" Michael asked

"No no. We've met before. I mean she was naked at the time and being fucked by my dad so didn't really get chance to talk" I said making them laugh

"Atleast now you'll get to know her before the wedding" John said

"Ye. Although I know as much as I need to already" I said downing my glass of whiskey

"And what do you know?" Finn asked

"She's got a great pair of tits" I said smirking. The men burst out laughing at my knowledge of my dad's fiance but I wasn't wrong. And we aren't related by blood nor marriage yet so all was good

"Nice. Is that all you know?" John asked clapping me round the back

"What else is needed?" I asked rhetorically smirking

"Wouldn't be talking about my fiance by any chance would ya?" I heard dad's voice as he came and sat next to us. He poured himself a drink and downed it quickly

"Might be. But tell me I'm wrong" I said raising an eyebrow at him

"No you're right. Gorgeous gorgeous woman" he said in awe at his fiance. Then someone came running into the garrison, almost knocking the door off its hinges

"Uncle Arthur, its our lyd" our cousin Charlie yelled before running out. We all followed him and he lead us to a few streets down. Tommy was there knelt down beside Lydia who was sat up but looked abit pale. He was rubbing her back as she slowly drank some water

"Lyds" dad yelled as he ran over and knelt by her side with us following

"I'm fine daddy" she said

"You're not fine Lydia. She fainted Arthur, probably from lack of water" Tommy said forgetting that Lydia can't hear him anyway

"Can we just go home now. All I need is a little nap and some food and ill be fine. Please" she begged looking at me. I looked at arthur who nodded so i helped her up and held onto her waist since her legs were like jelly. I walked her to the car and we waited in the back seat for Arthur. He came minutes later after talking with Tommy

'How do you feel baby?' He handed her a piece of paper

"I'm fine daddy honest. I wouldn't lie to you. My legs just feel a little weird but nothing more" she said clearly annoyed from all the badgering. Arthur put his hands up in surrender and turned to start the car. We were soon home where I took lyd inside and gave her some toast and water

'Will you still be OK for Linda to come round?' I wrote not wanting it to get too much

"Ye. I really wanna meet her properly" she insisted

'OK. We can carry on the day and have tea with Linda if you promise that the moment you feel even the slightest bit woozy, you tell me' Arthur wrote. She read it and rolled her eyes but replied

"I promise daddy. Now please, let's just forget it and not let it ruin tonight" she then stood up and slowly walked upstairs for a nap.

Arthur pov

At half 5, Linda knocked on the door. I gave her a hug and a kiss as I let her in and showed her around

"Kids" I yelled from the bottom of the stairs. Mason came down

"This is my fiance Linda. Linda, my son Mason" they shook hands

"Where's your sister?" I asked confused

"She can't hear you....remember" he said smirking at me forgetfulness

"Shit. Ye ye go get her would ya" i said ruffling his hair and pushing him up the stairs as he chuckled. He came down a few minutes later with Lydia

"This is my daughter, lydia-Rose" I introduced. They shook hands and we went to go sit down for tea. I wanted to make this the most inawkward tea ever. But I knew that was impossible and we would all just sit uncomfortable with the atmosphere of the room

"So Mason, you're father tells me you're from America" Linda said turning to my son

"Yes ma'am. Born and bred in texas" he said. He still had his accent. I figured after almost a year of being here that his accent would fade but I'm actually glad it hasn't. He stands apart from the crowd and I must admit, he sounds cool and Lydia sounds both sweet and scary

"And how old are you?" She asked

"15 but I'll be 16 in 5 days ma'am" I almost forgot how polite texan men were. Especially to women

"Well aren't you charming. How old are you lydia-rose?" She asked looking at Lydia who was nervously picking at her food. She didn't hear so didn't look up

"Remember honey. Lyd can't hear you so we gotta write everything down" I reminded her

"Oh yes of course" I gave her some paper and pen and she wrote her question and passed it to lyd

"14 ma'am" she replied confidently. She had always been quite good with strangers

'Please call me Linda. You know, when me and your father are married, I'll be your mother' she wrote down smirking. As me and Lydia read it, I watched as my sisters face dropped

"I already have a mama but thank you" she said through gritted teeth

'I had no idea. Where is she?'

"Why don't we stop with the questions" Dad said trying to defuse the tension

"She runs a store in Texas. Does very well for herself. We see her quite abit actually" Lydia lied making my heart tear in two. That was always mamas dream. She made clothes and always wanted to sell them. They were all so beautiful and many of Lydia's clothes were made by her but she's grown so can't wear any of them now

'I see. Well how nice for her' Linsa wrote. We ate for a good half an hour in silence after that and it was awkward as fuck

"Daddy, may I be excused?" Lydia asked looking at arthur. He nodded his head and smiled a small smile at her. She got up, kissed his cheek and then left the room. I could tell she was angry and not enjoying this meal

"I thought her mother was dead" Linda said

"She is. Lydia just didn't want to talk about it. And you won't be our mother no matter who you marry" I said sternly

"Mason" my dad said in a warning tone which I chose to ignore

"Honey, where does your son live?" Linda asked running her hand up Arthur's arm

"Well he's my son. So with me" dad said confused. Linda giggled and said

"No silly. I mean after he turns 16. You know, once he's an adult" what the fuck? Was she just planning to kick me out

"He's still living with me. You may be my fiance Linda but he's my son. And he is always welcome here. It's his home and he can stay here is entire fucking life if he pleases" Arthur said through gritted teeth. I smirked seeing Linda look embarrassed

"Can I be excused dad?"

"Sure son" he said. I stood up but before I left, I decided to embarrass the woman even more

"Make sure you lock the door this time" her face turned red and I walked away triumphantly
