A/n: so this is basically my idea for Riley's trooper armor design^^. I know that's an artist's idea of what grown up Omega will look like but the armor is the main focus for this chapter.

I kriffing love that fan art sm it's amazing, credits so whoever made it bc I certainly didn't.

Riley woke up to her alarm. "Ugh what time is it?" She asked herself. She looked at her clock, 7:39 A.M.

"Kriff! I'm late!" She yelled as she rushed out of bed to get dressed. She put on a simple white shirt with a corset over it and black pants. She had her brown hair done in a Dutch braid and put a red ribbon at the end to tie it. She pulled on some black boots and rushed out of her room.

She rushed to Lama Su's office and burst through the door once she arrived. "Ah Miss Elrod, welcome. Come, the cadets are waiting in this room." He said gesturing to the side door in his office. She followed suit behind him into the room.

It seemed to be some sort of weapons room. There were blasters and helmets hanged in various places. Riley looked at each piece intently but was suddenly startled by the sound of crashing.

She and Lama Su rushed to where to sound came from and seen several blasters scattered on the floor and a little boy who looked about 12 sitting on the floor in the middle.

"What happened?" Lama Su asked sternly. The little boy looked down shamefully. "Wrecker was trying to reach a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon, but fell in the process." Another boy from behind him answered, he was wearing goggles and was looking down at a datapad.

Lama Su sighed and told the boy on the floor—who Riley guessed was Wrecker—to stand up. He did as he was told and looked at Riley. "Is that our new babysitter?" He asked rather loudly.

"Wrecker, you don't need to be so loud." Another boy—this one with grey hair—grumbled from the corner of the room. Riley giggled a bit at what Wrecker had called her and held her hand out towards him.

"Why yes I am! My name is Riley Elrod, and I'm guessing you're Wrecker?" She introduced herself. Wrecker shook her hand and nodded excitedly. "Yup that's me! That over there is Tech, in the corner pouting is Crosshair, and over by the knives is Hunter!" He exclaimed, pointing to each of his brothers.

"It's nice to meet you four—wait who's by the what?!" Riley ran to where to knives and daggers were displayed and seen a boy with long hair going to grab one. "No! Don't touch those, they're dangerous." Riley scolded the boy as she picked him up.

"Hey! Put me down." He ordered. "I take it you're Hunter?" Riley asked, ignoring his last sentence. Hunter nodded and wiggled in Riley's grasp. "How are you so strong?" He asked her. Riley chuckled and placed Hunter back on the floor. "I dunno. Maybe I'm magic!" She suggested, waving jazz hands in the air as she spoke the last word.

Hunter laughed and ran to his brothers. "Well I'll let you five be alone. Miss Elrod, you may take the cadets anywhere you please except the landing pad." Lama Su told her. Riley nodded in response and waved to him as he left.

As soon as the door closed Riley turned around to face to boys. "Alright, how 'bout we go to the mess hall and you lot something to eat?" She asked. Wrecker perked up at the mention of food. "Can we? Please?" He begged. Riley giggled at how adorable he was.

"Of course! Tech, Hunter, Cross, come on!" She said as she grabbed Wrecker's hand and started walking to the hallway. "Don't call me 'Cross'." Crosshair said. "Alright, Crossie." Riley hummed. Crosshair rolled his eyes in annoyance and stayed quiet the rest of the way.

"Miss Riley?"

"Yes Tech?"

"Do you have any siblings?" Tech asked her. Riley smiled at the thought of her two sisters. "I do, I have two sisters. One older and the other younger." She answered him.

"What are their names?" Hunter asked from across the floor. Riley was helping the cadets draw designs for their trooper armor in the future.

"The younger one is Anna and the older one is Mandy." Riley answered, not looking up from her design. "How old are they?" Wrecker asked. "Anna is 14 and Mandy is 25."

"How old are you?" Crosshair asked from his spot on the floor. "I'm 20." She responded. "Why does your hair have red in it?" Wrecker asked, referring to the dyed ends of Riley's hair.

"Well I like to dye my hair. And red is my favorite color." She explained. Wrecker nodded and crawled over to look at her design. "That's really good!" He complemented her. Riley thanked Wrecked and went back to work on some details.

After a few minutes Riley felt eyes on her. She looked up to see Crosshair starring at her picture. "What? You got a problem with my art style, kiddo?" She asked him. Crosshair quickly turned away to get back to work on his picture. She shrugged and quickly forgot about the interaction.

"Tech, how are you doing? You look confuzzled." She asked after a few minutes, noticing Tech's confused expression.

Tech looked up at her and frowned. "My goggles would not fit in a helmet. I would have to take them off, but if I did that I wouldn't be able to see." He explained. Riley signaled for him to come to her. He did as he was told and handed her his drawing.

"Well maybe you can design your own helmet? You're definitely smart enough to do that." She suggested. Tech's eyes lit up and he grabbed his piece of paper and a pencil. Riley chuckled at his excitement and watched him.

She had only been watching these cadets for a few hours and already Riley knew they are her favorites. She found their individual personalities fun and intriguing. She couldn't wait to tell her sisters all about them.
