Hopping out of her car, Blake bound up the Henderson porch to their front door. The wooden boards creaked under Blake's worn converse that had once been white. Blake opened the front door and pranced into the house, offering Claudia a fleeting greeting as the redhead went upstairs. Claudia barley looked up from the paper as she greeted Blake.

Scarlett was still dressed in Brian's clothes with her hair in a messy bun atop her head, she was clutching a turtle in her arms. The eldest Henderson sibling was frowning down at the youngest who stood before his bedroom door.

"Why was Yurtle in my room?" Scarlett demanded, holding the turtle in question.

Dustin chuckled uneasily an closed the door of his bedroom. "He uhmmmm...." The wheels in Dustin's mind were working overtime. "He wanted to look at Starry Night so I thought he could stay in your room." Dustin smiled assuringly.

Yet Scarlett wasn't convinced. A turtle wanted to look at the print in her room that Steve Harrington had gifted her? A turtle? Yes Scarlett had fought demons and basically starred in a horror movie, but as far as she was aware talking animals were not a thing. And even if they were, Yurtle wanting to look at Starry Night out of all things? Yurtle had only ever been interested in red light and lettuce, the rest of the world wasn't important to the small turtle.

Scarlett quirked a brow. "Yurtle wanted to watch Starry Night?" Dustin nodded enthusiastically. Look, Scarlett knew her brother was a little weird, but sometimes it became very clear. A deep sigh left Scarlett's lips in defeat. "Fine, can you at least give me his terrarium? I don't want him pooping on the floor."

"NO!" Dustin clamped his hands around his door handle.

Blake strode forward. "What's your damage Curly Wurly? Just pass the not aquarium to Scarlett." The redhead reached for the door again, but Dustin slapped Blake's hands away. "What the hell?" Blake clutched her hand, turned out Dustin was stronger than he looked.

"Sorry!" Dustin blabbered, eyes flickered between the two teenagers quickly. "I....uuhhhhh," Scarlett and Blake exchanged a look. "Science experiment!" The two girls looked at Dustin in bewilderment and he quickly launched into an explanation. "I am doing a science experiment and I need the terrarium for that," He laughed a bit to the end.

Despite being unconvinced Scarlett dropped the matter. "Fine, he can stay with me. I'll just get the old aquarium from the basement," Scarlett murmured and started to walk towards the stairs, Yurtle still held against her chest.
