I was horrified. I genuinely thought I had been dropped into a deadly ocean. I waited for the water to fill my lungs, slowly suffocating and drowning me to death. But it didn't happen. I wasn't wet at all. My eyes were still closed, and I was lying down on something solid, not a liquid, not water. I was on land. I felt a ticklish brushing on my cheeks and I felt warm and cozy. I finally opened my eyes and saw I was not in the ocean, but in a field. There was tall grass surrounding me and crickets made noise from seemingly all directions. It was calming. I felt like I had been there before. I didn't have time to think though. As beautiful as this place was, something definitely wasn't right. And I was scared. Beth and Paul weren't with me, they had disappeared. I stood up and looked around everywhere, I turned around in every direction. They had gone. I was sure they were safe though. If I was alive, they were too. I probably would have been more scared and utterly horrified but there was two things stopping that. Number one was that the environment of a calm, quiet field made me happy and relaxed and made all my worries drift away. That didn't mean I wasn't scared though, it just made me less scared. And second, was the fact that whatever knowledge that eyeball octopus thing had given me, helped me cope a lot better.

I started to realise how absurd this whole situation was. I also realised how the WHOLE field was completely empty. Except for one, melancholy, lonely tree. It had massive leaves and was very wide. I tried to get a plan ready, for what I was gonna do. Then I thought about how I would get out. I had no place to go, I had gotten to this place by going through the floor. It was like magic. And this couldn't have been a dream because I was VERY aware of all of my senses. Because there was nothing to do, I decided to go towards the tree. I walked to it and it seemed like it was getting further away.
Wait.
It was getting further away.
I ran as fast as I could, but the ground stretched out as I ran and the ground started to tear open, as a storm and clouds came over and made everything dark and gloomy. The field was sad and loud now. I tried to avoid the tears in the ground, which lead to a black void underground. Who knows where that was. As much as it tried, the tear kept getting bigger and the tree vanished, leaving me in a distorted, dream-like world where my destiny was to fall into a void of nothingness.
Great.
I had nothing to do so I mustered up my courage and jumped. Right into the tear in the ground. There was no breeze, and I barely felt like I was falling. When I was 'falling' though, I noticed something appear in the distance of the void. It was a large creature. Indescribable and horrifying. It looked like an eyeball (eyes seemed to be an occurring appearance decision for a lot of the creatures in this world) and it had angel-like wings. It turned to me and stared. I was so mesmerised by the minster that I didn't even realise I was about to reach a hole in the void, which lead to another area.
I braced myself.
Closed my eyes.
And I fell through the hole.
Instead of falling down onto somewhere, I fell upwards, stayed in the air for a bit, then landed on the hard ground. I whined and moaned in pain, my back already hurt from Leo, this was just another add on of pain.
My vision started to blur. I saw two silhouettes above me and then I blacked out.
