Alberu finally took a breath of relief that he didn't know he was holding

He was pretty much the head of the Crossman household already as he had the seal, but King Zed Crossman had seriously opposed his decision.

Mean while Alberu was Shocked but quickly snaped out of it when his Mother kissed his cheeks signaling she was proud

While Zed looked in amusement he knew that Alberu was the best choice for the throne even tho he won't say it out loud.

Meanwhile the Nobels were planning how to get close to or how to be on the crown princes good side

Alberu had ignored that opposition and brought Cale here.

Cale must have asked about information on the Crossman Royal family because he thought it might be useful to fight against the White Star.

Alberu knew this as well and wanted to help him defeat the White Star.

However, there was another reason as well.

First was the royal family's weakness.

Cale was surprised at the fact that the Crown was a Dark Elf but his mother told him not to judge someone by race so he never did. He was ok with the crown prince being a Dark Elf long as he is a Good king.

Alberu looked at Cale and signed of relief when he saw Cales Shocked demure relaxing he didn't even notice the small genuine smile on his face with a hint to red just for a second  but his Mother saw it and smiled she was glad that her Son finally had someone to rely on.
