Sam's POV:

I woke up in Florence's arms once again, I looked over at the clock on the nightstand 5:30 am I groaned and stretched

"Florence come on it's time to wake up" I got up out of the bed and made my way to the bathroom, I turned on the shower and got undressed, I hopped in and let the warm water run down my body. Arms wrapped around my waist

"What are you doing Flo?" I asked softly while smiling

"Saving water" she smirked against my skin

Time skip

I was brushing my hair while Florence was drying her body off, she was looking at me smirking. I was looking at her through the mirror with a brow raised at her

"Why are we awake this early?" She walked over to her closet getting some clothes for her and me.

"We have to go see Tracy remember? Plus Macey wants us in early, she wanted to talk to us" I looked over and smiled at her kindly

"How do you think she's doing?" Florence was looking between two shirts to wear over her hoodie

I walked up to her and chose for her. It was black with a small eagle in the corner of it. It was one of my favourites.

"I can only hope that she's doing good.  I want her to be ok, she and my mom have gone through enough." I smiled lightly before slipping on a t-shirt

Tracy can take care of herself of course I know that, but with everything that happened with Jack, dad, and her husband or well ex-husband now, she needs her older sister to get through all this.

Not once in our lives did Tracy ever go to mom about her problems, she'd always come to me. Even about boys, Tracy was the first person who I told about being gay, she promised not to tell another living soul.

We were close. Even throughout high school when she was popular with all her friends. She wasn't a 'mean' popular girl, but nice. Helping anyone who needed it. But when we graduated and J died she cut me off. I don't know if she blamed me for it or what but I never had the guts to ask

"Are you ok? You've been spaced out the whole time" Florence's voice snapped me back to reality, I looked at my surroundings. We were in the car stopped at a red light. I shook my head slightly, I was confused about how I got in the car while being in my own world

"Uh yeah, sorry. Just thinking" I smiled at her

She opened her mouth but was cut off by my phone ringing. I got it out of my pocket and saw who was calling.

"Good morning Cece" I smirked even though she couldn't see it

"Good morning Samantha"
"We're almost at my place, is something wrong?" I anxiously tapped my foot on the floor of the car. Florence saw this and put her hand on my thigh rubbing it softly
"No no, everything fine. I called to tell you I'm not there."
"Can I ask why?" I raised an eyebrow
"I'm meeting with some lawyers about the divorce" her tone was calm and cool
"Oh good, ok well we will just head to work then"
"I'll be waiting for your lunch call and evening visit" she was smiling I could hear it in her voice. She hung up and I put my phone back in my pocket

"Is everything ok?" Florence asked, not taking her eyes off the road

"Yeah, we can go straight to work" I smiled lightly at her. She nodded her head and turned her signal light on

Time skip

If I had to know that she was going to see her lawyers this morning I wouldn't have woken up so early. I shook my head at my own thoughts Florence looked over at me with a confused look on her face, she left it alone knowing it was early and I'm tired
