Chapter 1

Luke ran away because he couldn't fix what he had done.

Luke ran because he felt the need to escape his problems.

Luke ran because he felt the guilt, selfishness and the pain he had caused.

Luke ran because he was afraid to loose Kat.

And most of all.

Luke ran because he was afraid of rejection.

Luke made many wrong mistakes. To many he was to scared of loosing the one he loved.

Kat.

Kat was his life, oxygen, his life support, until he make that one mistake.

That one little, mistake caused a lot more problems than you could imagine.

Not only for him.

But for Kat and the pack.

Luke has caused also many problems of his own while he was away.

And I'll tell you know they aren't the best of problems.

However while he was away, he realised many things.

Kat on the other hand.

She became stronger.

Luke left Kat with only a note, and Kat had nothing but that note.

Kat felt she wasn't good enough. She felt unloved, useless, like everything was her fault, worthless, guilty.

So she started new.

She became a fighter.

She made alliances with nearby packs.

She trained her pack to perfection.

She didn't become ruthless, mean, bitch or anything, she just needed a stronger pack.

She realised that if it was up to her she needed to become stronger, she needed to be a friend, a stranger, a fighter but most of all.

She needed to become a Luna.
