Interstellar Isekai (haitus)

Chapter 1

-December 31st, 3165
-Sol System, Earth

Earth...the home world of humanity. Established as the capital for the United Systems of Sol. A lot of it and its planetary neighbors have changed since humanity began its expansion out into space. It retained a lot of it's multi-climate surface with oceans, plains, mountains, and deserts. But has gained much change through the ones who inhabit it above all other creatures.

Massive cities with buildings reaching up to the atmosphere were scattered across the surface, with some being built from the very bottom of the oceans. Constructed around it was a massive ring like structure that encompassed the planet with cities and artificial terrain along the inter layer and dockyards across the outer layer. Orbiting around it were massive space cities with multiple platforms for holding districts filled with populations numbering in the millions. The moon had also received some change with large dome structures constructed across the surface to inhabit people within earth like conditions, protected from the vacuum of space outside.

Mars was no longer that barren wasteland planet it once was, now covered in continents of lush green plains and large bodies of water for inhabiting wild life introduced from Earth's climate. The planet was covered in multiple cities similar to the ones found on present day Earth, reaching up to the atmosphere. A total population of seven hundred million lived on the planet with hundreds of generations having been born on it. Humanity's first successful attempt at terraforming a planet with hundreds more planets having been terraformed the same. It's moons were converted into large installations used as hubs for trade and an outpost for star system defense.

Venus and Mercury were converted into mining planets as they were used as deposits for resources in infrastructure and starship development. A vast majority of both planets had been stripped away and used as resources while multiple large space structures surrounded both planets as refineries and processing plants for the extracted minerals to be shipped out across the Terran Quadrant.

Jupiter and Saturn were planets used as sources for the extraction and production of metallic hydrogen and helium-3. Both fuels currently in use with most commercial starships and small craft in service with the United Systems Navy and Atmospheric Force, and as fuel for impulse engines of capital ships. Saturn was also the site for a large shipyard in the shape of a ring structure where it's own rings once were. The asteroids used as materials need for construction of the ring and development of earlier ships. Another ring of similar nature was also constructed around Uranus for the construction of ships and extraction of deuterium used in matter/anti-matter reactors for powering starships. Neptune was surrounded by platforms and stations for the purpose of extracting deuterium as well.

Pluto was converted into a naval base for the United System Navy, harboring several hundred capital ships and posting as the command center for the system's defense grid that surrounded the Kuiper Belt. Close to it was one of the Star Gates used for immediate interspace travel within the Terran Quadrant as both commercial and military vessels were busy entering and exiting the large cube shaped structure from an opening in one of the corners where the wormhole was.

In the very center was the sun, surrounding it being a cage designed structure with multiple spinning outer rings that harnessed the energy within to provide power to the entire system and beyond. The dyson sphere. The large constructs took up a vast amount of resources to construct, but over a million more encompassed a million more stars within the Terran Quadrant.

However things were about to take a dramatic turn when suddenly all stars outside the quadrant disappeared and then reappeared. At first no one noticed it and there wasn't any sort of reaction to it. But all that changed when the Galactic Positioning System started going haywire on all ships and all hyperspace communications outside the USS territory went dark without warning.
