It was my escape
From the light
And life
Comforting
For me
Be away
For a few moments
Before I go
Face it
As learn to be
Fearless
Yes I was scared
At times
And life itself
I have to breakfast
From this darkness
Of mine
Only place
Reminding me
Of past
Awful memories
Trauma
Everything that I
Feared
Are store in here
In the darkness
The furthest part
Away from the light
Balance is not good
I have to get both
Light and darkness
Not one of the other
Light can't exist without darkness
Nor
Darkness can't exist without the light
There needs a balance
Yes the darkness
Is my safe space
Where I escape
From the world
To be alone
It's my home
