hi everyone!! thank u for taking ur time to read my book 'dangerously close'!

I just wanted to say a few things before we get started. first of all, I'm going to try my best not to make this story... cringe worthy? I'm basically going to make it as realistic as I possibly can and not the way some authors romanticize the mafia and all. Absolutely no hate towards anyone who has, I just... don't :)

second of all, this book will contain smut. *insert a gasp* I don't think I need to say much more lol. It might not be amazing but I'll try my best.

thirdly, as mentioned before this book is about the mafia. again, I'm in no way trying to romanticize the mafia because they're all- well hopefully you've seen the movies. Finish that sentence as you please. (I'm scared they'll come for me LMFAO)

little disclaimer: there will be.. quite a lot of Italian dialogue while some characters are communicating with each other. my Italian's not perfect, even tho it should be— sorry mamma— and therefor I'll be using a close friend of mine, my Duolingo levelled Italian and google translate :) so if there are any mistakes, please correct us KINDLY (I get extremely emotional when people get mad at me) in the comments lol!

I've had a love-hate relationship with this story- like I first thought of the idea back in 2021 and it's been 2 years and there's been little to no progress LMAO. So if I drop it all of a sudden, I'm probably in my hating phase again or I died lol. Let's hope it's not the latter cause I wanna know where this story lands LOL.
