Interesting fact, in 1859 Charles Darwin first published his book about the evolution theory, On the Origin of Species.
This story is not meant to be a horror story but a fictional narrative about the thoughts of a living being who's been feeling the loneliness of invisibility and that now has to face their regrets and life keeps going on, without them.
These chapters are inspired by A Ghost Story, a film written and directed by David Lowery (2017), by the books Goth Girl and the Ghost of a Mouse by Chris Riddell (2015) and Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll (1865).
