at Mike's house what a surprise "P5"

*Pete pov*

He is smiling like a dork again. sure I was freezing but he didn't need to do that for me. but I find his jacket oddly comfortable. The red velvet fabric liner inside of his black trench coat jacket it's just so soft and warm. but he shouldn't have gave me this jacket he's probably freezing his ass off. His arms are obviously has a red tent due to the coldness of the air at least we're inside now. I take off the jacket and I laid his jacket on the back leatherd couch by the door. I looked over towards Mike. It looks like he's walking towards the kitchen. I'm going to investigate his house a bit. I started to look around I'm seeing all of the pictures on the wall. I see a kid picture of Mike and his mother Mike looked so happy and his mother is also smiling as well.
then I look over at the picture next to that one on the wall and I see one where he's with his father he looks rather annoyed.
In this one it looks to be a Halloween picture and of course they're dressed up as vampires..... this house looks to modern and gross I can tell that is a conformist house it's so bright with white Walls a grey rug and a flat screen tv and those damn creepy clown pictures on the wall and on top of that with those damn signs saying bless this home and all who enter.

And rules signs on the wall.

ugh discussing what a bunch of conformists.. I disideing to get out of that area because it is disgusting with all that family bullshit ugh it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I flipped my hair then
I started to walk towards the kitchen to see what Mike was up to. it looks like he's getting the coffee ready then mike turn around to look at me

Mike: oh hey Pete sorry about the living room it's not my typical cup of tea per'se

Pete: yeah it's pretty disgusting I prefer at least some taxidermy and black and red color palette this is just too bright and cheerful

Mike: yeah I get that. this is just my stepfather's place I have to go here when my mom's out on her business trips. I don't know why I'm almost 18 I'm a third year in high school and I'm able to live on my own if I want to. But my mom doesn't like me being alone.....

Pete: then where is your conformist step dad then if you're mother doesn't want to be alone.

Mike: oh he is at work right now he should be home soon he works in the police department as a Caseworker for Child Protective Services. I will worn you he is anoying.

Pete: anoying just like you

*Mike pov*

I hope pete is not too uncomfortable here. I just hope my stepfather don't ruin everything like he always does.

Looks like Pete's coffee is almost done

Mike: hey so um.... how do you like your coffee

Pete: black with 10 little packs of sugar...

I nodded then I turned around and then I grabbed a big coffee mug then the coffee pot. I started pouring him the cup of coffee. I put the sugar in there after I set the coffee pot down. I mixed in the sugar and handed it to Pete I smiled with genuine look.

Mike: I hope you like it

Pete: thanks Mike.

I went to the cabinet and grabbed me a wine glass and poured me a glass of clamato juice I started to drink it Pete rolled his eyes at me and then took a drink of his coffee he nodded at me.

Pete: thanks the coffee is good

Mike: oh no problem you're my guest I want to keep you happy. Oh hey let's go to my room. I really don't want you to meet my stepfather he'll annoyed the shit out of you.

Pete: fine

We started walking to my room with pete slowly trailing behind me I opened up my room door and allowed Pete to come in I hope this room makes him feel more comfortable he's looking around my room I wonder what's he's thinking

*Pete pov*

I enter his room. I take a look around I'm amazed it actually looks pretty decent. his walls are of a crimson blood red. his carpet is black l his ceiling looks like a painted beautiful starry⭐ foggy night🌌 sky. his dressers are really nicely carved and they're black. Even his bed is a corner post king size looking bed with black drapes. It looks pretty Gothic with a vampiric twist even though I see a couple of those stupid Twilight posters other than that not bad at all

Pete: nice room it's better than the rest of the house

I flipped my hair and sat down on the bed

Mike: I'm glad you like it. my favorite room is the one at moms place it's similar to hear but no twilight posters.

I nodded my head. then I saw Mike go over to his bookshelf where the movies and books are he looked back at me

Mike: Hey Pete do you want to watch a movie

Pete: no I don't want to watch your conformist movies only if you have something gruesome or horrifying or gut-wrenching and not bland stupid lovey-dovey vampires!.

Mike: hummm ok let me look.

*Mike pov*

I started to look through the movies let's see no he won't like that....... Oh this is a cult classic not many people know about
this movie I picked it up from the bookshelf and showed Pete

I carefully take out the DVD out of it's case and put it into my Xbox one station
I looked at Pete

Mike: hey do you want any popcorn or snacks for the movie

Pete: Shure I guess

Mike: ok I'll be back

I rushed downstairs to the kitchen and I made us some popcorn and I grabbed some candy then rush back up to Pete. Then we started to watch the movie together I sat close to him while he gently leaned on me I wish that this was a date but I'm just happy that he is willing to be my friend.
I softly smile at him not saying a word
