"No, Dana," I answered sarcastically, "that's why I'm showing it to you from my phone."

"I'm so sorry, I meant that for Amanda. We got in a huge fight last night."

"Is that why you were drunk?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, sorry I bothered you."

~

Cole and I were walking around the hotel, hand in hand. Suddenly we walked to the board and we saw they posted the challenge for this week's live show.

'Nothing after 2000.'

I squealed in excitement.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!"

Suddenly, the guys from IM5 approached us.

Dalton grunted, "Why is she acting like we're in Disney again?"

Cole chuckled, "They posted this week's challenge."

The boys squinted towards the board. Dana, Will, and Dalton looked pretty excited while Gabe just grunted.

"Why? I don't like old people music."

"Old people music? Oh hell no-"

Cole pulled me back before I could say some not-so-kind words to Gabe. The boys chuckled, then left.

~

I belted the last note.

Britney wrote down some notes and stood up and applauded.

"With that song, Marley, I guarantee you'll stay on top. Nice rehearsal. Now go hit wardrobe."

I nodded with a big smile and walked off the stage.

On my way there, I met with Sarah. We decided to go together.

A few feet before the dressing room, Amanda and her crew were standing outside, blocking the door.

"Excuse me." I said, politely.

She turned to look at me like a piece of trash, "You think you can talk to me?"

"She just asked if you could move so we could go inside."

"I'll move, but this is your last chance, Ryan. Stay away from my man."

"Okay," I said, frustrated, "I don't know what that means and I'm not messing with your man, I have a boyfriend."

"Exactly." She said and moved.

Sarah and I went inside. Jenny approached us with our costumes.

"Was that weird, or what?"

"Yeah," I said as I racked my brain over what she said, "Really weird."

~

"You're hogging all of the popcorn."

He handed me the bowl with a cheeky grin.

"Popcorn hogger."

He snickered, "You know most girlfriends call their boyfriend 'Handsome' or 'Babe'."

"Well, I call you popcorn hogger."

He smiled, "That's why you're perfect for me."

"And you for me."

We kissed and continued watching our movie.

~

It was almost my turn.

The zipper on my dress was stuck.

"Sarah!" I screamed for the hundredth time.

Cole knocked on the door, "She's on stage, anything I can help you with?"

I didn't know that to say. He'd see my back and my bra. That'd be pretty awkward.

The red light flashed, indicating that I needed to get backstage, really fast.

I sighed, "Yeah, my zipper's stuck."

"And you want me to help?"

"Please."

He slowly entered the room and I turned around, exposing my back.

I felt his cold hands on my skin as he pulled the zipper up.

"Thanks." I said as I turned to face him.

"N-no problem."

I kissed his cheek and ran on stage.

~

I was standing in a big podium, center stage.

I breathed in deeply as the music started.

'Share my life

Take me for what I am

Cause I'll never change

All my colors for you'

The crowd cheered as the end approached and I was on full belt mode. My notes high as hell.

'Don't make me close one more door!

I don't want to hurt anymore!

Stay in my arms if you dare!

Or must I imagine you there?

Don't walk away from me!

I have nothing, nothing, nothing,

If I don't have you.'

~

This chapter is sad.

I feel like it's just a filler and that really frustrates me.

But trust me, in a few chapters there'll be a bomb.

Here's a pic of Marley's outfit for her performance! Check it out!
