In the dim light
I remember my writings to you.
A story based on us.
A poetry I presented on class.
And other poetries I wrote years ago.
In the story
I wrote how I first met you,
How I got a crush on you,
Some conversations we had.
And my confession to you.
In the dim light,
I read it
I haven't touched it for years
Since it's such a cringey one
I haven't finished it.
Will you still remember the time
I said I will jokingly make a story?
I guess not.
But don't worry about the ending.
It's just me and my own feelings.
I will not fabricate
Nor sugarcoat your words
Nor make your based character into me.
I promise you
That the two leads
Based on us will
Never end up together.
Just like us in reality.
In the dim light,
I will promise you that.
