"Old friend..." a male voice whispered making Mitsuko halt her sewing activity.
"Here" The voice whispered again, Mitsuko turn her head towards the source of the voice. There she saw a tall and muscular man with long and spiky hair.
"Who are you?" Mitsuko asked cautiously
"All will be revealed soon. This is all I can give you for now" The man said as he tap on Mitsuko forehead.
Mitsuko was suddenly pulled into a memory, a memory she did not recognize.
"Do you not hate me for being a demon y̶̶̶̶0r̶̶̶i̶i̶çh̶̶̶i̶?" A girl who looked like the younger version of Mitsuko asked the man from earlier.
"I do not hate any demons but Kibutsuji Muzan" He simply answered
"A man who can create demons just by his blood. How amusing" Young Mitsuko said
The man suddenly stop making the young Mitsuko stops too. He looks at her for a moment before staring at the sky.
"As the oldest, how do you feel if your younger brother surpassed you?"
The sudden question surprised the young Mitsuko.
"I would feel proud but jealous I suppose. But knowing myself, that proud feeling will overcome my jealousy for my brother. I might be sad that my brother won't need to depend on me anymore knowing that he is stronger" young Mitsuko replied honestly
"I see" The man muttered.
Mitsuko pants as she was pulled out of the memory- or was it her memory? She doesn't know and for the first time in centuries, she felt confused.
