Calum, Luke and I were waiting to the car park waiting for Mali to pick us up “so Jess what is Mali helping you study?” Luke asked, starting the convocation
“Science” I say
“Oh, I hate that subject; I dropped it as soon as I could” Calum said laughing a bit
“I only have until the end of the year, then I never want to look at another science book again” I chuckled
“What year are you again?” Calum asked, his head on the slight angle
“10, you’re 11 right?” I asked
“Yep” Calum replied. Just then Mali came.
“You can sit in the front Jess” Calum said smiling at me
“Okay thanks”. Oh my god, why did he have to have such an amazing smile. I got into the car with Luke and Calum sitting behind me. “Thanks again Mali for doing this” I said smiling at her
“It’s no problem, I to pick up these two anyways” she says.
“So Jess kind of music are you into?” Calum asked me
“um... a bit of Mayday Parade, The script and some other bands that you wouldn’t really know, no one really knows who they are” I say laughing the last bit
“Well tell us anyways, who knows they might be half decent” Luke says
“Yeah, surely you can’t have that bad of taste in music” Calum adds in smiling at me
“Okay, well there is Colour Coding, Way with words and Seven Nights Alone” they both went speechless
“Nope” Luke says, shaking his head, looking at Calum
“I know way with words. I think they’re good, but the other two, yeah I’ve never heard of them.” Calum says, I just laugh knowing that they would react like this “well maybe after you fished your study you can show me who they are” Calum says a bit shyly but still smiling at me
“Okay” I smiled, trying not to blush.
“Okay Luke here we go?” Mali says stopping in front of an amazing house
“Thanks Mali, cya Calum, nice meeting you Jess” Luke says getting out of the car.
“Bye Luke” we all say. For the rest of the car ride it was quiet, until Calum put in his phone, playing mayday parade.
Once we got to their house, Calum and I got out bags and followed Mali into the house “you have amazing house” I say. It was so big; it had this homely feel to it, like you just felt really comfortable in this house.
“Thanks, follow me” Mali said walking into a different room. It was just a simple dining room “okay let’s get started” she said sitting down.
*2 hours later*
“Okay do you think you are ready for tomorrow?” Mali asked me
“Ready as I will ever be” I say, throwing my pen into my book. I was so nervous about tomorrow, this wasn’t just another text, this test went towards a lot of my grade.
“Okay good” she says standing up “do you want to stay for dinner?” Mali asked me, I was just about to answer when Calum came walking in
“You have to stay for dinner, you still have to show me those bands” Calum says with some hope in his eyes
“Is that okay?” I ask Mali
“Of course it is I was just going to go and just some pizza anyways” she says,
