I walked through the hallways of my home for the past seven years. 'How I wish I could have died the day we were caught.' I thought to myself. The life I had then had nothing compared to this. Even if we had no problems for food, it was still worse here. Why? You may ask. I was forced to watched my sister get beaten. They treated her as a slave, which she was as long as she was in this facility. They did not allow us to talk to each other. I can only imagine the betrayal she felt when I stopped standing-up for her.

I finally arrived at my destination which is the general's office. 'What could be so important that he would call me during training?' I thought to myself. I knocked three times before entering. "You asked for me, sir?," I asked. "Ahh... The legendary Phoenix. Our most prized spy. I believe you are on your break, yes?," he asked. "Yes sir. But may I ask why you have called for me, sir?," I asked. "Well, you see... We need your help. We have this"problem" in Moscow. There have been reports of possible traitors within the area.," the general explained. "You mean you need a spy there, sir," I said. "Yes. Exactly," the general said. "When will I begin, sir?," I asked, eager to start. "You may start tomorrow. Although, I will warn you, this job won't be easy. Do not fail me," the general said. "Consider it done, sir," i said. "Good. I'll have someone send the files to your room. You are dismissed," the general said.

I exited the room and started heading towards the gym to train for my mission.

Time passed and soon it was time for dinner. I started heading towards the dining room. I heard the laughter of my fellow comrades before I had even entered the room. The laughter stopped suddenly when I entered the room. While some of them looked at me with disgust, most of them had fear etched on their faces. For me, it was normal. Everyone here practically knew my whole record. They were right to fear me. I snapped out of my thoughts when I felt a gun being pointed at my head. "What are you doing here?," a soldier asked or more like demanded. "Relax. I'm just here to eat," I replied. "I suggest you put your gun away before you choke on it.," I threatened. "Make me," he said. "Well. I tried," I said as I sighed in fake sadness. He didn't have time to figure out what it meant because he was to occupied in whatever I was doing. 'Let's get this show started' I whispered evilly to myself. I turned around quickly so he didn't have time to react and took his gun and shoved it in my pocket. I stepped closer so he didn't have space to swing a punch as I started to choke him. I shoved the gun in his mouth when he started gasping for air then I dropped him to the floor and walked towards a vacant seat beside my only friend in the facility while whistling.

"Well that was quite a show," Ryder said. "Well thank you for watching. You have been quite an audience," I said as I mock bowed. We laughed for a few minutes as we waited for our food to be served.

"Oh! I almost forgot. The files for our assignment is already in your room," Ryder said out of the blue. "Wait! I thought I was going alone," I said. "You poor kid. They forgot to tell you what the assignment is really all about. Anyway, just read the files. It will tell you all you need to know. It seems that this case is bigger than what we think," Ryder explained. I just nod for I was still shocked that he was coming with me. This mission must be really serious for the boss to send his two best agents. I just shrugged the thought away from my mind. We would probably figure it out on the mission. "Earth to Phoenix. We request that you return to earth from whatever planet you are in," Ryder said while waving his hand in front of my face. "Uh... Sorry. I was just thinking about the mission," I replied. "Hmm... That reminds me. You still need to read those damn files. Now, Shoo! Before you forget to read them," he ordered while pushing me away. I laughed at him as I slowly walked to my room to annoy him more.

Upon arriving at my room, I quickly found the files which were on top of my coffee table. I started reading them and pretty soon I finished, well, not so soon. I checked the time and it was already past midnight. I crawled to my bed and I was out like a light, dreaming about what tomorrow's mission will bring.
