MEANWHILE
in a parallel universe where
women are always on fire
Ren was on a scroll with only screaming heard on the other end.
"Calm down. Calm down. Calm down," he tried speaking to the presumably burning woman. "Yep. she's dead," he then said and put down the scroll.
The combination of the absurd scenario and Ren's deadpan delivery had nearly everyone laughing. Some had the decency to attempt to stifle their amusement by covering their mouths, feeling awful for laughing at the situation.
The keyword being "attempt".
MEANWHILE
in a parallel universe where
watches don't exist
"Hey, what's the time?" Ren asked Jaune.
"Time you got a watch," he replied mockingly.
Ren then looked up from his game and genuinely confused, asked "The hell's a watch?!"
Jaune's face then adopted a look of panic shouting, "I don't know!"
At this point, they understood that this viewing was supposed to be more comedic and not taken as seriously as The Batman. Like Dee said, it was meant to be entertaining.
They let their laughter ring out in the theater.
MEANWHILE
in a parallel universe where
everything is dubbed in Polish
Ren then began speaking in, what seemed to the Remnant folk as, gibberish, with Jaune responding to whatever he said. Ren then responded again, and whatever he had said, seemed to offend Jaune as he gasped in surprise.
Now they were perplexed as to what they were hearing.
"Uhh... What did he say?" Marrow questioned their nonsense.
MEANWHILE
in a parallel universe where
thinking about breasts makes your head heavy
Hearing that description, they regained their smiles again, as they could see where this was going.
Ren looked up from his game and looked to ponder something.
Then immediately after, his head whipped down and slammed into the table under him. His head raised again and he brought his hand to his head before painfully exclaiming, "DAAAARGH!"
That was a twist no one expected, as jaws dropped. They turned to the usually stoic man who currently had wide eyes.
MEANWHILE
in a parallel universe where
thinking about breasts makes your head float
"Help! I'm... stuck on the ceiling." Ren was nowhere in sight.
Laughter once again overtook the theater as Ren looked down, blushing and feeling second-hand guilt and embarrassment.
