"So then she like oh well if you continue failing mathematics you won't be able to do volleyball this season." Ashley said to me at lunch while we ate tacos.
If honestly felt a little weird talking to her considering what happened with her and Keon. I'm not saying it's either of them fault it's just a little weird.
"If u need help with math u know u can just ask me right?" I asked drinking some Kool-aid.
"But I don't wanna have to ask for help I just wanna.. ion know I'm finna drop out bruh ong I am" she said shaking her head
"I'm so ready to graduate, I'm finna move into my own house soon" I said excitedly
"I know that's right, I hope we still be cool after graduation. Most people loose touch after graduation and do they own thing in life" she said shrugging
"Yea u right, I hope so too though" I said wiping my mouth and hands off with a napkin
"What's the word Ki Ki" DJ said wrapping his arm around me sitting by me
"Uhnt uhn watch out I got a nigga" I said moving his arm from around me making him look at me shocked
"Whattt Ki Ki got a nigga? m m m." He said shaking his head putting his hand over his chest fake hurt.
"Yup shole do" I said swiping under my chin but instantly regretting it cause I knew Ashley was about to ask who.
"Whooooo?" Ashley asked making her eyes go wide
"His name Keon" I said hesitantly scratching my head
"Keon.. I heard that name before" she said continuing to eat.
"Wait yeahhh, that was JJ best friend or sum.. Idk they used to be real cool but me and Keon never really talked" she said snapping her fingers
"Who is JJ?" I asked curiously
"My cousin on my daddy side, I saw Keon at his funeral and me and Keon talked about JJ but yea I know him. Y'all cute okayyy" she said smiling and nodding her head
"Whateverrrr" I said rolling my eyes. So they never fucked wit each other for used to talk.. ion care I believe Ashley over Marie so.

"Did you know that me and Ashley are friends?" I asked Keon sitting laying on his bed while he played the game
"Nah I didn't" he said boringly as if he didn't wanna intervene in the conversation that was about to happen
"How u know her though?" I asked to see what he would say
"She was at my homie funeral, ion really know ha though we only talked a lil bit. Only reason Brandon was saying allat shit was cause JJ used to try and put us on but we both said nah." He said continuing to focus on the game.
"Oh Okay, just asking" I said getting under the covers getting ready to go to sleep. I believe him. That's what I liked most about Keon is that I could trust him and if he told me something I'd believe him.
"You wanna watch a movie?" He asked getting in the bed laying by me and wrapping his arm around me
"Yeah what movie though" I asked adjusting myself to where I was laying under him with my arms around him. He was so warm
"Bad Boys" he said grabbing the remote
"Ion feel like watching that, what about Love and Basketball?" I asked smiling
"Ight" he said going to it and turning the lights out. While we watched the movie I felt him starting to go to sleep. That's all he do dang.
"Wake uppp" I said tapping his face
