"You're right. If we survive tonight without dying or embarrassing ourselves—more so me than you by the way—I'd feel more confident in being able to handle all this. Well, on the bright side, these shoes are comfy and easy to walk in so I can scratch #1,789 off my list of ways to make a fool of myself on the red carpet. No twisted ankle for me," she cheers, making them laugh.
"If a twisted ankle was that far down the list, I don't even want to hear what's at the top," Crystal chuckles.
"Ladies, 15 minutes and we're set to head down to the car," Chan-woo, one of their new security guards, voices after three sharp taps on the door.
Amerie being the loudest of the two stylists, calls back assuring him they'd be done. She sprays a little more holding spray on Crystal's hair before declaring she was done, unfastening the cape around her neck and allowing her to stand.
"Thank you, I love it," Crystal says, grabbing her phone and snapping a picture for her mom.
She didn't need her blowing up her phone at the awards because she didn't get one.
Her hair was in glam waves and the dress fit perfectly, a pattern of silver crystals on off white material that was form fitting, but slightly flared from her knees to the floor.
"Let me get a picture of you too Sehee," she says, motioning for her to stand against the wall.
Sehee's dress was two pieces, the top consisting of a black, high necked and short sleeved cropped piece adorned with black sequins that would shine when the light hit them. There was a sheer panel at the very top right underneath her neck that highlighted the pattern of the dress. The bottom was a sheer, high waisted piece that kept the same pattern as the top, and in the light, you could see the high waisted, full coverage underwear she had on—which is why Crystal called it spicy. Her dress was floor length as well and she wore red pumps that would be slightly visible throughout the sheer, black material.
