"Come on, we're gonna be late!" Killua shouted.
"Don't rush me. I'm almost done." Leorio responded.
"What are we gonna do with them? They're always bickering." Kurapika said as he chuckled to himself.
"We gotta keep em!" Gon replied with a big smile.
"I suppose, but you got to take care of them." Kurapika said sarcastically.
"Sure thing, Kurapika." Gon responded.
"Ok, I'm ready." Leorio said.
He walked out of the bedroom with an oversized sweater, sweatpants, a coat, and a scarf.
"Well, you're certainly dressed for the weather." Kurapika said.
"Pretty funny considering you always brag about how you can't get cold." Killua snickered.
Gon giggled along with Kurapika.
"He's kinda right." Kurapika said.
"Et tu, Kurapika?! That's it! Our friendship's over!" Leorio exclaimed.
"Not getting involved." Gon thought.
"Ok, you two lovebirds. Let's go." Killua remarked.
"What?" Leorio said.
They hadn't mentioned anything to the boys. Was it really that obvious? The answer is yes. It was.
"How-"
"Did we know? It's not that hard to figure out, Leorio." Killua said.
"He's got a point." Gon added.
They arrived at the skate rink and paid for their tickets and skates. They were putting on their ice skates at the bench.
"Gon, are you wearing frog socks?" Killua asked.
"Yeah, why?" Gon replied.
"No reason, I just think it's cute." Killua said.
"Aww thanks, Killua!" Gon said with a smile.
Killua chuckled in reply. They entered outside and began skating. As much as he didn't want to admit it, Leorio was a terrible skater. He had fallen down at least 3 times already and was thoroughly embarrassed.
"Do you need some help?" Kurapika asked warmly.
"No I got it. I was doing it before."
Kurapika ignored him and held his hand to help him balance.
"Come on, its easier if you have someone to hold onto." Kurapika said.
"Fine, whatever." Leorio replied angrily. But really, he was blushing. Only a little bit though.
"Come on, Gon. Let's give them some privacy." Killua snickered.
"Okay, Killua! I'm glad to be with you, anyways!" Gon said.
Killua and Gon skated away from Leorio and Kurapika.
"You know, I'm having fun with you."
"I'm having fun with you too, Leorio."
"And wow, you look so beautiful tonight."
"Just tonight? What about the rest of the time?" Kurapika said playfully.
"What? No! I just mean-"
"Leorio. It's a joke."
"Oh heh." Leorio said, clearly embarrassed.
"You are so.."
"What? Tell me."
"Calm down, I was gonna say cute."
"Oh god, stop being such a sap." Leorio said as he rolled his eyes.
"Oh ok, I'll remember that." Kurapika chuckled.
