The sun was starting to set, it was a hot day. The street was not very busy and after crossing some narrow alleys, the area was completely quiet.
Ogai Mori held the little girl's hand and swinging it in air he was walking towards a big dorm kind of room that was there.
Hayley was a sweet little girl, She had to walk a little faster to keep up with Mori.
"Do you like butterflies Hayley Chan?!" Mori asked in the sweetest tone he could use.
Hayley at first a little hesitant but then replied "Yes, I do. Very much."
Mori gave her a wicked smile and asked her to walk inside with him.
As soon as Hayley stepped inside, as if her soul left her body, she froze. Her eyes wide open in terror. She was going to puke as soon as she'd open her mouth so she put a hand on it.
The room was a simple block with just a small window through which the faint light of the setting sun was shimmering in.
All there was to see was a pile of dead bodies lying on the floor, covered in blood. The stench of the thick red liquid and dust filled the air inside.
Mori leaned on to Hayley's shoulder and whispered into her ears giving one of the evilest expressions "How does the butterflies look Hayley Chan?"

(11 years later)
The weather was cold, not chilly but still pretty cool. The street of Yokohama were pretty busy as it was a week day. Everything looked plesent.
Hayley's phone rang, she picked it and a voice said in an informing tone, "Hayley San the target will come out of the bus in about 15 mins, it's your time."
She listens with a stotic face and replies with a small "hmm" and hangs up.
After exact 15 minutes a bus stops at the stand and many people gets out of it.
An old man about the age of 50 with a brown duffle bag also gets out of the bus.
He is the target.
To Hayley's surprise when she was ordered to 'take care' of a port mafia traitor she did not expect it to be an old man who seemed so simple and peaceful.
But oh, well, who knew people aren't the way they look better than Hayley.
She herself could deceive someone with her looks. She appeared to be an absolutely normal young girl in her early 20s, rather frail perhaps. She dressed like that, she spoke like that, no one could ever guess that this woman was a mafia spy and executive.
In reality, in terms of physical strength, Hayley even without any special ability was one of the strongest and quickest person.
She was rather deliberate in her missions and tasks.
As the old man picked his duffle bag and started to walk she followed him in a very nonchalant way. After walking for about 20 minutes the turns he was taking led them to a very quiet area.
Now she was pretty sure that there was no mistake in noting the target. She walked as silently as a cat, placing a hand on the gun in her coat's pocket she followed him trying not to get noticed.
Soon she knew it wouldn't be a problem anymore to be quiet as he already knew she was following him, honestly she was expecting this. He turned facing her, it was the time of dusk.
From the building nearby some mens, more like bodyguards came towards the old man, she expected this as well. They all noticed Hayley and pointed their guns in her direction. With the same expression-less face she looked at everyone and everything and then pulled out her little dagger from another pocket an held it in her hand eyeing them.
Cut to some time late, the dagger in her hand all bloodied, all the 6 men except the old man lying lifelessly in the pool of their own blood.
Hayley panting slightly, a slight cut on her left cheek bleeding as she stared at the old man and walked towards him.
"Kneel !" Hayley commanded pointing the gun at him.
He did as asked, sitting down on his knees while holding his duffle bag in his hands.
"You knew about this, didn't you?" She asked.
"Knew what dear?" He replied pretending to be clueless.
"That I was following you, that there's no escaping the mafia. Then why the hell did you betray the mafia? Leaked the information out to another organization? Huh?"
" I didn't know you would be able to take down these guards by yourself, I was a little careless and that's why got caught."
"Do you seriously think I will buy that? If that was the case I wouldn't be chit chatting with you right now and you would be dead just like these guys." She said pointing towards the guard.
"You knew there was no escaping what you did, then why? I absolutely do not enjoy killing, especially on my off days, it's tiresome, better tell me why did you do it?"
The old man smiled and asked " did they ask you to question me? I don't think any sort of questioning is necessary for this case, everything is fine as long as the traitor end up dead. I have worked for the mafia since last 30 years I know it."
Hayley lowered the gun. "No, they didn't ask me to question you.......... I am asking because you don't look like a fool who would dare to mess up with mafia for some green notes from anyone."
After a little pause she said, "because you seem to accept the fact that you are going to die."
She looked him in the eye, still holding up her bland face.
He looked at her with a calm expression and in a similar manner told her,
"since I am going to die, dear let me give you an old man's piece of advice"
He paused for a while then said,
" always do the things that you believe in dear, cause no matter what is right and what is wrong, if in the end things doesn't go the way you want you will only have regret in your heart, and if you have done what you believed in you won't be atleast searching anyone to balme."
A look of complete loss on his face.
"I guess." She said to him after a brief pause.
She knew the old man had suffered badly, killing him would only allow him to rest.
"You gave up on things and now you want to die, where does the betraying mafia fits into this?" She asked bluntly.
"As long as I lived, I lived for this organization. I had my own reasons to do that, I am a traitor, not only to the mafia but to myself as well.......Dear please end my miserable self now............... you have already learned pretty much for your age, those eyes of your says it all.....I wish I had too..... please..... please....."
He begged her to lay him to peace.
"I.... hope..... " She loads the gun and shoots three times. "...you find peace."
She stares at the lives she took, she falls to the ground, staring at the bloody ground with lifeless eyes, as if she had nothing left to feel, she whispered to herself "who am I to believe in anything? I am a monster I........ I am......
I am just cursed."
