Soldiers Chapter Ten
We bring Eren up to the top of HQ where the other cadets are and the collective shock is shared between all of us
"I saw his arm get bitten, him falling down the titan's mouth. How is this possible" Armin wonders linking his arm with Erens "Guys the Garrison is going to be here soon," conny says to us as his eyes look at the two people flying directly toward us "Someone must've snitched," I say and they land on the rooftop
"Pass that cadet to us we are going to take him somewhere safe from you guys," the member says "fine but if you are taking him I'm coming too," I say standing up still holding onto the brunette "no cadet he isn't safe" he retorts "he's my best friend so yes I'm coming" "As are we," Mikasa says stepping up next to me with Armin "Fine, it's your funeral," he says flying off after I pass Eren to him
"stay safe you guys," I say before flying off
After a couple of minutes, we approach the wall and go over it to a part near the gate that is surrounded by the members of the garrison and we set down with Eren in mine and Armins' grasp as we wait in limbo for the man of the hour to wake up
After a while, I hear a slight groan and some movement from the brunette and the garrison cock their guns and unsheath their swords ready to attack at the slightest whim of their commander
"you're all gonna die," the voice says
As I look to my right in shock I see Eren awake and smiling
"Eren hey, you alright? can you move? You've gotta tell them everything. They're terrified but they'll understand."Armin fusses
"don't fuss over him Armin, You awake Eren?" I say catching myself for my slight fear of the boy next to me and what he said
"Armin... [].. what? What's going on?" he slowly asks seemingly breaking out of the murderous trance he was in
"did you catch that he said were all going to die" a garrison soldier intercepts
"there's not much else you can make of that, son of a bitch wants to eat us," another said as silence washes over
"CADETS EREN JAEGER, MIKASA ACKERMAN, ARMIN ARLERT, AND [], THE 4 OF YOU HAVE ALTOGETHER COMMITTED AN ACT OF HIGH TREASON. WHETHER OR NOT A SWIFT EXECUTION, AS A RESULT, WILL BE DECIDED BY YOU. "IM SORRY SIR, I DONT UNDERSTAND" Eren yells back in response after a bit of silence
"ANSWER ME EVASION WILL GET YOU NOWHERE. DONT TRY TO STALL AND PRETEND IGNORANCE YOU WON'T STAND A CHANCE YOU WILL BE BLOWN TO HELL" the captain continues
"WHAT TRUE FORM?" Eren questions
"LOADS OF US SAW IT. YOU EMERGED FROM THE BODY OF A FALLEN TITAN. A CREATURE OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN, ABILITY, OR LOYALTY HAS INFILTRATED WALL ROSE AND THAT CREATURE IS YOU. YOU ARE A RISK I AM WELL ABLE TO ELIMINATE. EVERY MOMENT I SPEND ON YOU LEAVES US ALL AT RISK FROM ATTACK BY THE ARMOURED TITAN. HELL, YOU COULD BE A DISTRACTION FOR THAT VERY THING." The captain monologues
