•You Fall Asleep While Waiting For Him•

Sam: your POV

"We should be done soon, I promise." Sam said into the phone. He's been gone for three weeks on a hunt with Dean. The hunt wasn't even supposed to take this long, but what they thought was something simple turned out to be way more complicated.

"Ok. I'll see you then." I said taking a seat on the couch. "Be careful."

"I will, don't worry." He hung up with that. I sighed grabbing the tv remote and flipped through the channels. There was nothing good on tv this late at night so I had to settle for some crappy horror movie.

As much as I willed myself to stay awake, it was hard. If there was something interesting then maybe it would've been easier. My eyelids felt extremely heavy and I drifted off a few times, but I managed to wake myself up. As soon as it hit 2:00 am I gave in and let myself fall sleep.

Sam's POV

I stepped inside the house, shutting the door behind me. It was quiet besides the tv playing a horror movie. (Y/N) must've forgot to shut it off. I walked into the main room to turn it off and found (Y/N) curled up on the couch softly snoring. I smiled at the sight. She was so cute and peaceful when she slept. I switched off the tv and lifted (Y/N) carefully off the couch.

"S-Sam?" She croaked rubbing her eyes.

"Hey." I said softly. I took her upstairs and laid her on the bed before laying next to her.

"I missed you." She whispered as I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer to me.

"I missed you too." I gave her a soft kiss on the forehead. "Good night." A soft snore escaped her lips. She was already asleep. I smiled and let myself fall asleep next to her.

Dean: his POV

"What do you think?" I asked into the phone as I got into the impala.

"Well, I haven't heard of anything like that. I could do some research and get back to you." She replied.

"Thanks, your the best." I felt kind of bad making (Y/N) do all that research and stay up for me. "I'll see you soon."

"Yup." She hung up. It was a three hour drive back to (Y/N)'s place and I was tired. I pushed open the door and walked into the kitchen to grab a beer.

"(Y/N) you find anything?" I asked popping it open. I walked into the living room and found (Y/N) bent over a book softly snoring. I chuckled and put my beer down. I slid the book out from under her and lifted her into my arms. I took her into her room and placed her on the bed, pulling the covers over her. I started back out to see what she's been researching

"Dean?" She mumbled before I could leave the room.

"Yeah?" I whispered back.

"Stay." I smiled and walked back over to her and laid down. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her forehead. She grinned as she drifted off again and we both fell asleep there.

Castiel: his POV

Now that I was human traveling was much more slow and tiring. Before I never got tired or slept. Sleeping took so much time out of everything, but I couldn't really complain. I had (Y/N) right there besides me most of the time. That's another thing about traveling. I have to leave (Y/N) on her own and I don't enjoy it.

"Cas, relax I'm fine!" She laughed into the phone.

"That's good. I should be home very soon... Hopefully. Dean says so." I said and she giggled at that.

"Good just get your graceless butt over here." I sighed at her "graceless" joke. It was not amusing.

"I will." We both hung up and I stepped into the impala. I couldn't wait to get home to her.

I waved goodbye to Sam and Dean and they drove off. It was late at night and I doubt that (Y/N) would be awake. I wouldn't want her up this late anyways. She needs her sleep.

I stepped inside the house and quietly shut the door. It was quiet. I walked up into her bedroom. It was empty. Fear quickly settled into my stomach. Stupid human travel!

"(Y/N)?!" I shouted running back downstairs. "(Y-" I stopped once I saw her figure curled onto the couch. I sighed relieved. (Y/N) was okay, false alarm.

"Cas what's wrong?" She hummed, rubbing her eyes and sitting up.

"Sorry for waking you. I didn't see you in your room so I panicked." She smiled and put her head on my shoulder.

"It's good to have you back. I was waiting for you, but I fell asleep." I hugged her tightly.

"That's ok." I laid her down on the couch again, only this time I was there with her. "I love you." I kissed her forehead.

"I love you too graceless angel." I frowned.

"That is not funny." All I got was soft snore that escaped her lips as a response. She was already sleeping.

I wrote the majority of this in class 😅 it was sooo awkward and people were like what are you doing? I was like noooottthhhiiiinnngggg....
