The Game

Chapter one: How It Started

Chris woke to his alarm going off. He looked at the time 4:00 A.M, way too early to be up. He was taking you to New York for the weekend to hang out with Sebastian. He wanted to miss the traffic so he decided the best idea would be to wake up way too early in the morning. Chris got ready for the day. He walked over to the bathroom and got showers, and brushed his teeth.The night before you guys put your bags into the car as you wouldn't need much for the weekend. Chris walked into your room, he sat down on the bed and watched you sleep peacefully. You were wrapped up in the soft blankets, holding on to your German Shepherd stuffed animal Sebastian had given you when he first met you. You were also holding an African Wild dog Scarlett gave you last year for your birthday when you were at Disney's Animal Kingdom. You had gray Captain America sweatpants, you had a Patriots shirt on as your dad wanted you to be a fan of his favorite team. He felt bad that he had to wake you up this early. He then started to rub your back to wake you up. It didn't take long as you were a light sleeper. You started to stir and you stretched out. You opened your eyes and saw your dad. You wined when you saw him. You were happy to see Sebastian as you haven't seen him in forever. You then held out your arms so your dad could carry you. He rolled his eyes but he knew that soon you would be too big to get carried. He took you to the bathroom so you could brush your teeth. He then put your hair into a ponytail. He picked you up again and carried you over to the car. He opened the back door and he put you into your car seat. It was now 5:15 A.M. Chris pulled out his phone and put on a Disney playlist. Chris then pulled out of the driveway. You fell asleep shortly after. It was 7:00 A.M about 2 hours into the drive to Sebastian's when you woke up. Your dad saw you in the rear view mirror.

"Morning firefly."

"Morning daddy." You said with a slight rasp in your voice as you had just woken up.

"Hungry?"

You nodded. "Yes" you said while rubbing your eyes.

"You want I-Hop?"

You smiled in excitement and nodded your head. "Yes! Please! Thank you dad!!"

Chris just chuckled at his daughter's goofiness and told you that we would stop at the closet one.

The car finally came to a stop, Chris walked out of the car and opened your door up. He was about to take the seat belt off of you but before he could you put your small hand on the button and pushed with all of your might. When it finally popped.

"I'm a big girl daddy!!" You said.

"No you're my baby girl." He said while grabbing your hand.

"I'm not a baby." You said with a pout on your face.

Chris could only laugh, which made you laugh. You both walked into the I-Hop and the person at the front gave you a seat for two. They walked you over to your seats, they were seats closer to the window. Chris and you sat down in your chairs and they set the menus down. You looked at the menus and saw a chocolate milkshake.

"Dad?"

"Yeah sweets?"

"Can I get the chocolate milkshake? Pleaseeee?"

"As long as I can have a sip."

"Fine, thanks daddy."

"No problem firefly."

The waiter came over,

"Hi my name is Ty I will be serving you today, would you like any drinks to start out with?" They spoke.

"C-can I have a chocolate milkshake? Please."

"Of course honey." She wrote it down, "anything for you sir?"
